You'd hope that the unreservedness would mean the sit downers would move away, and in front of, the noisy sweary stand uppers Although they are likely to get there mid morning and spread themselves out to achieve maximum indignation
As their fans were being displaced from the south stand I, wrongly as it seems, assumed they'd sell the away end first. Queer buggers in Lancashire!
Remember, if you don't want to get stiffed with extra charges, you need to get your ticket by 3.00pm today.
If ticket sales are poor I expect there'll be an announcement Friday pm that all fans can pay on the gate..
From the Bury forum: 'As such and coz i'm a bit bored (and a bit sad!) i've just phoned Hull City up and pretended to be a Tiger...this is how the conversation went: Me - How many tickets do we have for the Bury match? HC - 2500 but we can have another 2000 if needed. Me - How many have we sold? HC - Just over a thousand...but go on general sale on Monday so looking to double that. Me - We'll never take 4500 though will we? HC - No chance.'
We announced from minute one that we'd taken an allocation of 2,700, I think Bury just moved their own fans on the off-chance that we found we could sell more and they knew they wouldn't need more tickets themselves.
