This. I'm worried about some of the players reactions to all this, especially Cabaye.

His pace will be missed a lot.

And I fear that players like Lovenkrands, Guthrie, Simpson and Gutierrez along with the new signings will express similar concerns.

You cannot lose your core pace to the squad. You've made that mistake before

I not saying give it chance. It is a basic requirement for any top flight club to have entry of pace.

Newcastle have quite a bi fair play but need more in order to advance

Enrique can leave, no one is bigger than the club. lack of respect has been shown here massively. Fans, bollocks Jose doesn't want the backlash. He is not irreplaceable no matter what people think. Izaguirre from Celtic would be just as good if not better in a year (my opinion of course!) and Mbengue could be a good shout otherwise.

I hate the doom and gloom merchants on here sometimes. Lets just be thankful we have made some good signings so far and still have time to get some more in which i believe we will do. esp if we lose jose. Ashley wont want a backlash neither will Pards, i think he'll get some funds soon

I wish Mike Ashley would get the **** out of the club! Where is the 35 mill ? And don't say some of it has gone on agent fees and wages, because. that. is. utter. ****e. Shouldn't the money we recieve from TV revenue, Merchandise sales, Ticket sales, Food/drinks sales and final season position money, not forgetting Ashley runs sports direct which he is promoting using the club. Most of that income should cover agent fees and players signing on fees.
We've sold 2 players, but we also don't want to offer one of our best players that is Joey Barton a new contact, which is well deserved for his performances last season. Do you remember when Carroll was sold? When he claimed he was pushed out of the club, but wasn't Mike Ashley quick enough to get Andy on his ****ing helicopter down to Mersyside.
What happend to the new 5/6 players Pardew wanted to bring in ? So far we've brought Ba, Marveaux and Cabaye in, we only paid for one of them and that was Cabaye and Nolans transfer fee to Westham should've covered that.

I know that the transer window doesn't shut untill the end of August, but i'm worried that we may only bring one more player in, and that player will be Erdinc. Not exactly the big replacement we wouldn't for the sale of Carroll, is it?

We'll see how the team looks at the end though, then we can make our judgements, i only hope i'm completley wrong and we buy a quality striker and spend a chunk of the money.

Cant stand when people say this, expecting us to go out and spend 90 million or something. Football clubs cost a ****load to run, our wagebill is still up there with the highest in the league, and yes, a lot of the 35m has been spent.

This. Most people appear to completely underestimate the associated costs in the running of a football club and have decided that this one pile of money should be spent in a very precise manner and not be used for another other possible legitmate cause within the club.

NO!!! i'm not one of the ****ing idiots who come on here and say we should be getting amazing players! We aren't able to get them kind of players here, i would love it but it's never going to happen anytime soon. I would like to see Pardew about to spend 10-15 million of it, as that okay with you GRB?

You (effectively). Saying we should be spending the 35 million plus TV revenue (which is about 40 million alone) plus all the merchandising sales. The fact is most of a clubs money has to go on wages.

No, i ment that the TV revenue and other income should be covering players wages and so on. I don't expect the club to go and splash 30 million on a player, and thats because we don't have that kind of money. But i expect some of the 35 million to spent this summer, even if it's 10 million on a good striker.
