Rangers have never won at the home of the Reds in 31 attempts – the most recent defeat coming in the FA Cup third round at the start of the month – and if truth be known, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s charges head to Nottingham at a time when Dougie Freedman’s side are enjoying their best run of the season so far. Freedman’s charges stretched their unbeaten run to 11 league matches with a 1-0 victory at high-flying Middlesbrough on Saturday. Jamie Ward – the scorer of the only goal of the game when QPR bowed out of the FA Cup three weeks ago – was at it again, notching Forest’s winner in the 70th minute, to extend the Reds’ recent unbeaten run. Forest, who also saw Ben Osborn's shot strike a post, started with a game-plan to stifle the home side and executed it to perfection to secure a first win on Teesside since February 1993. Meanwhile, Hasselbaink’s men head to Nottingham unbeaten in three league matches since defeat to Hull City on New Year’s Day. The R’s gaffer was particularly pleased with his sides’ first half display against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, with striker Sebastian Polter continuing his rich vein of form in front of goal with a fourth goal in five games. Polter is again likely to lead the line tonight, as the R’s look to end January on a high in Robin Hood country. please log in to view this image Nottingham Forest – Likely line-up (4-5-1): De Vries; Jokic, Mills, Hobbs, Lichaj; Osborn, Gardner, Mancienne, Tesche, Burke; Ward QPR Xl? please log in to view this image MATCH ODDS Nottingham Forest win: Evens Draw: 23/10 QPR win: 12/5 LAST TIME OUT Nottingham Forest 1, QPR 0 – FA Cup, third round – Saturday 9th January 2016 Scorer: Nottingham Forest – Ward HEAD TO HEAD Nottingham Forest wins: 28 Draws: 19 QPR wins: 15 ''NUTS! Sorry, the above post was difficult to edit. The initial post #1 has been redone if anyone's interested.
A few people seem to be suggesting that Washington could play in the No10 role. Has he ever played there? I genuinely don't know. All the clips I've seen of him suggest that he is a forward who likes to play on the shoulder of the last defender.
I think he can, it's just that he can't be arsed! So, Henry is dropped. That should please most on here.
Faulin for Henry....I would have played the two matches the other way round. Henry today...Faulin vs Wolves....but hey I'm just a girl
That looks like an attacking team away to Forest. I have wanted to see Ale and Luongo playing in the 2, but I am a bit surprised JFH is trying it this game.
Thanks for the thread 9s. Wonder which QPR will turn up tonight ??? Nice attacking line-up, and good to see Ale back. He really needs to be on his game tonight, tough ask for him.
There's never a good time to pick Henry but a cold Tuesday night up north seems the best time to do so. Is Burke playing for them? Bus Pass Paul could be in for a long night
Is something the matter with Hall or is he just being rested? EDIT: Being a dumb-arse!!!!! I read Hall as Hill. Need to get new glasses.
