"Didn't Arsenal win the league at Christmas? Now they have the real possibility Spurs finishing above them"

Goon title-winning form only comes when :

- they get dumped out of the CL
- their next season CL slot is under threat of going with a third of the PL season remaining

and that form cannot actually win them the title

As I said to a Goon supporter, if Wenger could hire Derren Brown to hypnotise his entire
squad to believe the above conditions exist since day 1 of the season, they would be
champions already by this time.

I imagine A87 has gone into full mental breakdown by now!...

No prizes for getting that one right. To be fair, he's the only one melting down. The rest of us are bitterly disappointed, but probably more baffled at how pedestrian we were today, we basically handed that game to the Chavs.

You just always make big errors in big games, especially against us, your head goes.
Think we are unbeaten in 8 games v you. You always bottle it

We are **** against you. Bad mental block. You weren't good today, but we somehow managed to be even worse.

Mertesacker has been around a long time, he knew the score. If he made that tackle and didn't get the ball, he was in trouble. Costa made the most of it, but you'd expect that.

After that, The Chavs just played in the counter. Should have been 2-0 if Clttenburg had awarded what was a blatant penalty for the bodycheck on Favregas!

Can't disagree with any of that. Poor all round from us today.

Didn't Arsenal win the league at Christmas? Now they have the real possibility Spurs finishing above them <laugh>

Do I get the impression that you'd love that to happen?
<laugh>

The silly fcukers have been celebrating St Totteringham's Day since this site began. That's the day when, mathematically, Spurs cannot finish above Arsenal.

The arrogant assumption is, of course, that we will never finish above them.

How can any reasonably minded neutral fan not want to rub these arrogant fcukers' noses in their own slime?

They're above you for now but as much as it makes me want to vomit blood, I can see the Spuds topping them this season.

We've been celebrating it for the last 20 years mate, get it right <laugh>

Do you think Spurs will finish above Arsenal this season HIAG ?

Yes, I do think that. I've said it all along.

Well you haven't really, you've postulated a bit, but then you are prone to claiming you were only joking when things blow up in your face.

But I see that you are nailing your colours to the mast here and saying that Spurs will finish above Arsenal this season.

Do you think you'll be celebrating St Totteringham's Day any time before the last couple of weeks of this season, Pixie?

Are you prepared to do something you never do, and actually nail your colours to the mast?
