That for me is why they need to alter the ball to hand rule. When i played many yeas ago that was handball. Yes it was unintentional, no he could not do anything about it but it stopped/changed the direction of the ball. They simply have to be given as all decisions no matter how small alter the course of the game. Only difference should be whether yellow is applied for deliberate or not

Doesn't matter, ref can't give what he doesn't see

Yeah - i get that but the rule is just so stupid. Think it was barkley, who just stopped, he could prob have got back in and helped. Had that been someone against us though, I would have been livid. Went from possible attack to defence out of position from a handball.
Not swansea's fault - just the way it is at the moment.

Yesterday Bassong lost his marker by going into an offside position then within two seconds he is scoring, when does second phase come into play? We have had quite a few in last few weeks where we have been off - stepped back on only to be called off a few seconds later. Just silly overly complicated rules.

On the Bassong thing, IMO it wasn't 2nd phase. After being offside you should need to be onside for one pass by your own team, or the opponent should touch the ball before it's 2nd phase. Getting on the knockdown you were offside for when it was lumped is offside IMO.

But that's only adding complication.

if that became the rule it would be like hockey in that attackers would just hit the ball at defenders arms you would end up with about 6 pens per game.
Mind you it would increase disabled employment as upper limb loss would be in high demand <devil>

I think it is possible to see if a player is flicking the ball deliberatley at someone, that is a lot of skill right there. You then have to have the ref making a best guess and then we are back to square one.
If that had been Rooney or Fellaini today though i would have been spitting, bit of sympathy for the toffees. The goal being scored so directly from it just compounds it.

Funny thing was yesterday it barely got a mention or even really noticed. However in the context of the mtch it just added to it :)

Lukaku misses the ball from a yard out which would have put Everton level.

I mean sure it's backs to wall by Swansea but Everton need to do better.

Luckaka misses a great chance. Good keeping but only expected save once lukaku drilled it into the ground.

Coleman manages to outdo Lukaku for miss of the game!
Last kick of the match, 1 yard out and manages to put it over <laugh>

I'm sure Tobes would have argued the goal shouldn't have counted though as it was 4 minutes and 30 seconds into added time of only 4 mins... much like how Terry's goal was after the 8 minutes of injury time last week, so probably best he did miss <whistle>

Terrible display from us to be fair...

Lukaku looked like Benteke

Barckley was awful

Stones was awful

Howard was his usual awful....

The rest were slightly less awful but still bad<yikes>

Apart from Delafeu...

Great weekend for you guys as your favourites Man U and us lost <laugh>

Don't burn your foreskins out now lads <cheers>

He won't argue lol but he probably noticed after your 10 minute celebration because you won the league against Norwich yesterday the whistle blew straight from the kick off so there was no added time for it <laugh>

It was a cracking miss by Coleman mind fair play
