Ltown
1.20- Woodland Opera 10/3
3.35- Art Lord 5/1
Everton to beat Swansea and Ross Barkley to score anytime 9/2

2/5 still available with Fred Ron for the shrewdies <laugh>

Louis Vee 7/1 Chelmsford City 1.10 - Has sound claims now he has a decent draw in stall 1. Drawn in the car park LTO he missed the kick and was wide all the way beaten 2.44 lengths by the reopposing Kyllach Me who now has the poor draw. Georgia Cox (2) is in the plate today and although the horse has since gone up 2 lbs I feel he is on good terms with himself lately and if he can break well, he could upset the short priced fave. I've also backed the horse to place at 2.54 on the exchange for insurance.

Why not ??? Booooooooooooooooooooooom

<cheers> fellas. Always nice to have the Sunday winner. Feet up for the day now to enjoy all the sporting action. Might dabble in one of the handicaps later possibly, Willie is giving us a chance to have a bet in them anyway!

I think Group status should be taken away from a race if there are less than 6 runners and/or there aren't more than 3 runners rated more that group status.

I think the interviewer will need to wake up Ruby if he wants to talk to him.

Totally agree with that Ron,wouldn't even class that as a race

So in effect you'd penalise those that do take the cotton wool off and run there horses in the top tier races?

I see your point but the problem is we've trainers out there who seem scared rigid of sending there poor wee horseys out of their boxes. Aren't they the problem and why we see tiny fields?

I've said it before, there ought to be requirements for a horse to have a certain amount of runs in a season in order to qualify for a race at the festival (or produce a vets certificate in case of injury)

It was no more than a public exercise jaunt though was it beefy. Hardly warrants a G1 status. Some races have had their group status reduced/removed due to lack of quality entries. At this rate, using the same criteria, we won't have any Group races left. I doubt if Rich Ricci would be too bothered if it was a G1 or a Listed race. I just think that Group races should be defined in such a way as to get a competitive race worthy of the status. Maybe there are too many races carrying Group status and not enough top quality horses to fill them all..

I've joined you here ste and went for Art Lord 5/1 that rout mid week was taking and although he's been tried in similar company here before without success, it could be time to strike while the iron is hot. Interesting Thornton runs 2, both with live chances.
