My mother in law is from Treherbert, over the hill. She always tells me that everyone who could got out of the valleys at the first opportunity, preferably to England, leaving, shall we say, a rather shallow gene pool behind them. Seems she was right.

we be back a little later than England init <ok>

seems your mother in law forgets her roots dude/which is a shock considering the Rhondda valleys people are usually some of the proudest working class people in britain.........ps can i assume she had the same opinion on her grandparents who seemed happy enough 2 bring up a young family in your mam in laws parents.........shame on her especially coming from a area near 2tha village that saw the "british military" open fire on "churchills" orders "killing" striking miners

No you can't assume anything because I can't make sense of that post. Before she retired she was a head teacher, including a stint at Ystradgynlais a bit west from you. I don't think she would look kindly on anyone who substitutes "2" for "to" (saving a whole character! Are they rationed in Wales?), and who doesn't know how to use quotation marks.

    Do you rate Nye Bevan?

she wouldn't like me then fella I don't play games with anything oppressive(government tools) that tells me what 2 do>>>>>>hence the fact I wouldn't give 2 hoots in what English I chose 2use when it comes 2 talking bollox with people on a forum.....

Nye bevan is just another puppet for the classes brother, but he did manage 2 squeeze some cash out of the state for the nhs and had more morals on his little finger than the 99 percent of these current blood sucking pigs in Westminster.......

this fella has passion at the moment and mr bevan plays a big hand in what he has 2 say
