In which sense? Suggest you go to the thread title and read again, we are talking stadia. Cutting edge design verses aging **** hole.

Like the Battersea Power Station designs?? Only Chelsea fans loved that. Cutting edge design using brick columns?? Anyway should be a good addition to the championship and might smash the attendance record.

I think it looks like a cheese grater disguised as a potty.

Must be thirty years since you've last been to OT. It's very corporate now, not that I'm saying that's a good thing, hence it was England's stadium of choice when Wembley was closed and still hosts other major non football events.

It is possible to renovate old properties, you don't always have to knock the house down and bring in Octagon!

What's the capacity? We got 60,000 and averaged 48,000 in Division 2. All those plastics watching second tier football!

Corporate it may be but still an ageing heap constructed of 30% concrete/metal 70% plastic, how apt!

Wouldn't that put Chelsea completely out of business?

And you weren't one of them.

You are merely a plastic... like most of the United 'fans' on 606 though to be fair.

We got 55k v Fulham in Div 2 btw

You also got 20 odd thousand attendances in Div 1 in the 80s when everyone got poor crowds.

I've watched Chelsea in more than a hundred Div 2 games in the 70s and 80s so remember what crowds were like then. And also remember United failing to fill two pens in the North stand

Nope, Stan was only just on the way back then.

Bless, if this makes you feel better then it's healthy for you. You rarely drop by to chat nowadays, you used to be prolific on the United board (and the Premiership board). Some people think you're a bit of a fair weather fan who hides away when his team aren't doing well.

    cracking

point made and explained, well done.

you must be due a toaster by now.

I suppose it is easier to fly into Heathrow than Manchester.

But all those Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire chavs would inevitably be drawn to United. I think the Essex ones would stay loyal to Chelsea though.

Did you read that on a forum and digest it as gospel? Shame as it's bollocks and is something trotted out by scratch the surface football fans. United may have fans all over the world but they're unquestionably the best supported club in Manchester. If you'd ever been there you'd see that simply by people watching and chatting.

Have a look at the link. Clearly not just my opinion. Loads of fans in London and elsewhere but categorically the best supported team in Manchester. It's a simple fact, I know it doesn't suit your argument but you either accept it or you look like a bitter, ignorant oaf. It's up to you pal!

    Enjoy the relegation battle.
