I don't have a problem with his ethnicity. I'm not local myself so it would be pretty hypocritical of me to complain about non-locals supporting the club. The problem is that the picture shows that he doesn't understand the values of the club, buying a Liverpool-ManUtd half/half scarf is ****ing bollocks and proves he is totally clueless. Yet that same guy gets a ticket for the biggest game of the season at Anfield ahead of proper fans who would bring some passion to the stands, understand the traditions of the club and would love to be there. We'll never get the Anfield atmosphere back if the club keep selling tickets to the likes of Thomas Cook so they can hand them to the tourist with the most money who will sit there all game with his new kit and bag full of merchandise watching the game through his phone camera.
Before my time... In which case I dont understand what the fuss is about then? I'm just pulling out a figure that quantifies how bad it's been for 5 years. We've now gone full circle with you agreeing.
He's disagreeing with your figures and the way they have been twisted to look as bad as possible, not with the argument that we have wasted money over the past 5 years.
I havent seen him disagree with those figures since I posted their source. And they're not my figures. I do have other figures about LFC and Klop I've come across in my dwelve into the social media abyss but I might leave those before things get ferrel on here
Di Maria was £18.54m per goal #expensivegoals Man Utd paid £18m each for a consolation Vs Leicester, opening goals vs QPR & Everton and a stoppage time goal vs Yeovil.
Klopp: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is speaking to the media, and he's thrown his support behind striker Christian Benteke after a disappointing midweek performance against Exeter: "Everyone could see he was involved in two of the three goals. He's working hard. His attitude was really good."
"Everyone could see he was involved in two of the three goals.''... yes jurgen, we could also see he ****ed up about 40 times to build an attack.
uhh no? ibe actually did something useful yesterday almost everytime....a few failed attempt at crosses but when do you expect when you play with a striker that does not move. i thought he was clearly MOTM last night
I thought the problem with Benteke is that he moved out of the box #sortyourstoryout So Ibe would beat a man (not difficult since it's a man who plays for Exeter) but instead of end product he just wasted it. Yep, he'll fit in with the first team for sure. Meanwhile Benteke set up two goals. He also had a massive influence defending set pieces, which no one else on our team can do. So I'll take his actual contributions over how good Ibe looked thanks.
Aside from the one what went straight in from the corner kick, how many was Benteke on the pitch to stop?
Astro, is your argument that Benny's not ****, or that he may be **** but our defence is **** too, and thus he's not quite so ****?
He is a very good player, with the potential to be a great player, and in any case is not even top 5 of things about our squad you should be whinging about
