Aha, gotcha !!! From Ricardo's Rules:- "If there's whinging about the games that have been selected, even though the games selected meet all the rules given (or any other trivial complaints) the person concerned will have their predictions for that week deleted/ignored." See opening post. No vested interest on my part - honest !! How generous do I feel today I wonder ?

Controversial. I suspect the 3 man disciplinary panel at the FA will be meeting on Friday but an appeal could be lodged until 0930 in the morning. Or it could just be a set up or an act between the top 2 to create publicity for the fact they are both at the top and to get the posters talking about them..........
Seems it worked. Sod the publicity - just want to scrap Tickles entry this week. Any edge'll do for me. There will be a new rule next season. Anyone questioning the scorekeepers integrity will receive a 9 year ban.Particularly if they are in the top 10 in the standings. Regards, Sepp.

I picked them Tickles and thought about it...but I can't stand the suspense and wait until Monday night. Cold sweats, lose sleep, go off my beer...it's all too much. I have to know where we all stand before my Sunday night bath!

'ey up... Have no knowledge of history of this competition prior to this season and the 2 seasons before, but since I started being involved the highest weekly score I've ever seen is 16 points - managed by several of the regulars. It is conceivable that this score (16 points) may well be exceeded this weekend with one match to go (Arsenal vs Chelsea - tomorrow). One of those 16 point scorers is in with a chance to better that count. Wish you bastards all the best.
WEEKLY REPORT ( Jan 23/24 - ROUND 24) - Fulham (Away). *** PLEASE CHECK YOUR SCORES.*** *** EDIT: Monday Jan 25: CORRECTED BASED ON INPUT FROM Blaknamberblood - who pointed out I'd missed a 3-pointer of his, which brought him up to 17 points for the week. Bastard - ruined my moment of glory. (Note: There will be no appeals for incorrect logging of results if they are lodged more than 2 weeks after the round in question). Cheers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This round's joint winners - tigerscanada and Blaknamberblood with 17 points. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll post season-to-date stats for everyone at end Jan. Snapshot: The French Tickler leads with 156 pts, second is tigerscanada on 155, 3rd is HebridesTiger on 142. tigerscanada is in-form punter with 43 points in the last 5 rounds.
