Anybody seen this yet? A BBC Sport short film about Bradford City winning against Chelsea in the FA Cup. I do like underdog stories. Looks good: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p03g1pbs/the-underdog-story-how-bradford-beat-chelsea And was good.
Of all the potential giant killings, this is the one that doesn't hold much appeal. Franchise FC vs The West London Money Launderers? No thanks. I will however, be cheering on both Derby County and, especially, Colchester Utd.
So if Scouse and Hammers draw on Saturday, our home game against WHU is to be brought forward to Saturday 6th February 17:30 kick off? (Too slow there, I see a thread on the subject already!)
Colchester I can agree with, but I'm unsure about Derby. If someone could give me an assurance that LVG wouldn't be sacked if he lost this one I'd be an honorary Derby fan for the evening. But LVG is the best thing to ever happen to ManU and I don't want to see him leave.
I've just seen that a likely pairing for Liverpool tomorrow at the back is Lovren and Caulker. What could possibly go wrong?
I'm reporting on Oxford United vs Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup tomorrow. Looking forward to that. Oxford could make the last 16! This is a good read on how they've turned things around and are getting it right at last.
http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/saints-fan-cargill-s-pompey-snub-1-7188787 Ex-Saint Cargill who may turn out for Bournemouth tomorrow reveals how he turned down Pompey as he would only have gone there as a last resort. Good lad.
Pretty good goal by Wayne Rooney there. Nicely placed. 0-1 I think he was offside when he collected the ball though.
Which part of the body has to be offside, these days, before it IS offside? I think his left calf and arse, were offside, but that's about all.
Still offside. If any part of the body with which you can legally score a goal is beyond the 2nd last defender you are offside.
Yes, I think they stopped with the daylight between the forward and 2nd last defender a few years ago. Probably when it was no longer a surprise that the glamour club could pull over the middle sized club.
Derby have come out looking like they're finally not too respectful now. I think they might do something here.
