If we are going to charge £35 to watch us play Huddersfield I reckon a 25,000 stadium will do us fine.

Must admit Stan that was a ridiculous price for the Huddersfield game........25k stadium would be ideal, the likes of Swans, Norwich, Stoke do just fine with that size of ground..........still think we'll be at Loftus Road for years to come.....

Terracing was great when I was twenty. I loved standing in the Loft. I stood at Brentford for 90 minutes and my hamstrings were fooked. That was a terrible experience. I don't want to stand at a football game ever again.

Don't understand how anybody can just sit at a football game. It's like lying down on your stomach and p*ssing, totally unnatural.

Sitting is such a sterile experience. I regularly stand at my local club up here, and on the handful of times that I've had to sit, the match experience just isn't the same.

Unfortunately, just can't imagine a time when standing in The Loft will happen, unless we drop a couple of leagues..

Don't firefighters need a certain level of fitness?
Depends on how comfy the seats are. In the Loft I always get a back row seat so I can stand because sitting is agony. Also allows me to smash my head against the corrugated iron wall behind us in frequent times of stress. German safe standing looks great because everyone seems to get a barrier to lean on, they tend to be reserved for the Ultras and ST holders though. In the San Siro with the Ultras no one sits during the game, they are all too busy doing, deals, passing joints around and arranging social gatherings. Plus the 'seats' are tiny squares of filthy plastic with no backs glued to the concrete.
It would be nice to have the choice to stand at QPR.

The very reason I use Z6 as there are three solo seats and each of them you can stand from

I think there was 34,000 for this game, first and only time I've been scared of the sheer numbers. As Facto rightly said, we lost 0-2 as well:emoticon-0106-cryin
Just looked it up in my complete history book. Must have been the cup game in Jan 87'. Right time and score. Says the attendance was only 9,684. Seemed packed in the loft. Maybe it was just everyone going nuts at the score that made it seem so.

Lost 2-0... Blonde fella scored twice for lesta...was in the loft like you said tight as a ducks arse

Yep, some guy called Joe Waters who was making his debut.......wasn't 75/76, more like 73 or 74.......plus the crafty sods only had a change strip of all white, non of this 3rd kit you get today, so we had to play in our change strip of red shirts and white shorts......it was some crush that day....

Is our new stadium nearly built yet? :emoticon-0158-time:
Keep reading Tony's tweets and taking the meds. Of course it is - only a couple of minor obstacles to go. We haven't got the land yet or the permission. That should put it back to the start of the new season - a new season at some point before the 22nd century.
