What if Klopp signs three or four players in the summer to accommodate Benteke?

He could need to bring in the likes of Downing on the wings, and some playmakers from deep to ping long balls.

Which would go against his whole style/philosophy, one that has been successful over his career.

He really only needs one player, someone like Sturridge or Origi who has some pace and will make runs ahead of him and get onto the balls he brings down

Benteke's 2 main goal routes are from crosses but no one in our team can do that, or from cut-backs but no one in our team gets ahead of him to cut it back

The cut backs bit is wrong - the number of times the wide man finally gets into the box and want drill a low ball, and Benteke is either on the edge of the box or back post, hiding behind a group of defenders.

Then the cross is blocked and Benteke stands in the same place, and starts pointing to his head.

But it could happen. Diego's question about Klopp v Migs would be more prompt then but Benteke and Migs <ok>

Surely you have to question the player crossing there too though. Why drill a low cross when Benteke is the target? Hardly playing to his strengths is it? (not that he's bad on the deck)

True - it could very well happen.

Personally, I think Klopp is trying to give two mentally weak players a confidence boost because a) he needs them until the summer and b) we want to get a good price for them in the summer.

True, the crossing has been terrible!

But Benteke is often glued to a defender, picking him out is so difficult. Even the youngsters against Exeter didn't want to pass it to him.

Agreed <ok>

Benteke needs to do more in the box but the crosser needs to do better too. Just like it takes two to make a pass, it takes two to make a cross too <ok>

he's an honest man... he says things that are the truth. don't be so cynical.

As Billy says, we all want him to do well and succeed.

But it's painfully evident (even before he signed) that he wasn't suited to us nor has he ever shown he can suit us.

If £20-25m offers come in the summer, we should be doing the deal.

Not his fault - the person who bought him in the first place should have known.

Sounds more like Klopp is blaming the blaming the support players rarther than the striker <ok>

"We have to think about how we create chances. First of all, we can get the ball into the box and then maybe Christian will finish it.
