The Vardy comparison seems to be a good one for Washington, pacey hardworking striker come up from lower leagues (although he’s managed it quicker than Vardy) and neither particularly prolific

Vardy could still turn into a one season wonder for Leicester as a prem player, however his previous goalscoring record would point to the fact that he was finding his feet at a higher level, Washington hasn't scored well other then at a very very low non league level whereas Vardy was banging them in at a level where Washington was scoring 1 in 8 and 1 in 6. All I've really seen of Washington is his challenge on soccer am with Bullard where it looks like he has a good powerful shot from the edge of the box range, let's just keep our fingers crossed that if he signs he doesn't turn out to be a dud!

Not over hyped- he's being bigged up a lot and we don't know how good he'll be for us
