I'm bored of winging about Liverpool.

I've been doing it for about 5 years now and many things change - except the results.

Man united did give us space. We got into some good positions in and around your box.
We could've driven a ****ing 18 wheeler down the right hand side with the space Darmian was giving us in the 1st half.

So, with no strikers you can score 3 against a good Arsenal side and 4 against a good City side yet, the same lack of strikers is the reason you cant score against a **** United side?
I think you need to rethink this a little :emoticon-0100-smile

The point is they don't score regularly. You've picked 2 games where we scored 3+ goals over a 33 game season in which we've only scored 3+ goals in 5 games. In comparison we've failed to score in 8 games. Firmino averages 1 goal in 4 games in his career. Lallana is 1 in 6. Henderson 1 in 10. Milner 1 in 10. These were our attacking players against you, there are games where they will score but they don't make a habit of it.

Not really...all of the "forwards" on yesterday have the ability to score but none of those are consistent like a sturridge or rooney on form. They all need a lot of chances to convert them.

You lot weren't attacking that much but because your defence isn't great or atl least this year appears uncomfortable we got chances.

Unfortunately all our starting front five appear to be confidence players. If they'd converted an early chance against you I'd have seen a city or arsenal score. But they didn't. As Mito predicted.

Also ....De Gea.

It really is simple. Over 3 years we lost 4 of the 5 players who scored 100 goals...through injury and transfers.

No one can argue the replacements match them in quality or have even had a full season together.

So Inconsistency is expected.

IF Rogers is being honest over the Balottelli business I think that should be the final nail in the coffin for the Committee and, if they're so ****ing insistent upon it, FSG. yes, I do feel that strongly over it. We could have bought Shaqiri and/or Berahino for that £16m that summer, and either of them has more potential of becoming a £50m player than Mario (though does this not confirm we're not a top club but a ****ing second hand car lot nowadays, and not a very good one at that?).

So, the raison d'etre of Liverpool Football Club, in an era when premiership clubs are rolling in sponsorship and television money, is to buy players solely with the intent to make money on them? Note - it's not to find a gem in the lower leagues and save a fortune on buying big (I'm all for that) but it's to make money on players, and for what? Where would that go, if we actually became decent at it?

Liverpool Feeder Club. Should have a fruit machine and cold coffee served in plastic cups on the forecourt.

We could have Shaqiri sooner - but Rodgers wanted Lallana instead.

We don't score many goals, we can't defend set-pieces, but in the middle we play some lovely., eye-catching, ineffectual ballet. A swarm of stingless bees. Or buzzing flies around a turd, whichever comparison grabs you.

To state the obvious we must pull out all the strings and buy a genuine quality striker.

I'm interested to see how Ings gets on when he gets back too.

I reckon he'll be a damn site better than the current Carlton Cole impersonator.

In fact we need shed loads of players but one step at a time.

Klopp has said a striker isn't a priority.

I think he needs some new specs
