57 SEASONS IVE WATCHED QPR BUT YOUR THE NICEST BY FAR GIVE MY LOVE TO YOUR FAMILY THEY PUT US IN A PARTY MODE TELL GRANDAD AUSSIE WE WONT FORGET HIM AT LOFTUS ROAD THOSE HEADED GOALS YOU GOT MADE YOU LETHAL IN THE AIR WHY WE SOLD YOU I DONT KNOW, I JUST DESPAIR SOUTHAMPTON ARE GETTING THE NEW RON DAVIES A MAN THAT CAN LEAD THE ATTACK WE AT QPR HOPE THAT THIS DEAL SPEEDS UP THE SACK THEN WE GET A NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM THAT FILLS US FULL OF STEAM AND WHEN WE PLAY YOU AT ST MARYS MISS AN OPEN GOAL AND BLAME IT ON THE MOLES GOD BLESS YOU CHARLIE DONT GET INJURED SCORE ANOTHER TWO HUNDRED GOALS LOVE YOU FOREVER THROUGH EVERY TYPE OF WEATHER YOUR A REAL SUPERSTAR PLEASE DONT EVER FORGET LITTLE QPR
YOU WILL LOVE HIM AT ST MARY'S HE WILL GET THIRTY GOALS NEXT SEASON WHAT A PLAYER HE WAS VALUED BY LIECESTER CITY AT 12 MILLION BUT LES FERDINAND REFUSED TO SELL HIM SO BY THE END OF NEXT SEASON HE SHOULD BE VALUED AT 20 MILLION
you have to feel a lttle sorry for leicester they are currently second but with charlie they would be ten points clear leaders there simply isn't any team that can stand against the arial supremacy of charlie
Yeah, it's a weird old business. But that QPR fans wish him well probably tells us something about the lad's integrity. Reminds me of Rickie and Morgan's departures. I thought that came out in the interview too. Unusual, and very welcome, to hear a player talking about prioritizing his family's needs and not just about the football ambitions. If he scores the winner at Old Trafford canonization is guaranteed! The Ron Davies comparison is interesting. When he signed we all asked "Ron Who?" and he didn't have a bad spell at Saints. We'll hold the comparisons, but for now very excited to see him in the Green shirt next weekend.
charlie austin is an amazing player he mostly has played up front on his own so his incedible goalscoring would have been even more if southampton play two up front ,he genuinly could get thirty goals a season and he could get eighty caps for england, the only reason you have got him so cheaply is because jimmy floyde and ferdinand have destroyed qpr they are managerialy a complete disaster, there has always been a good relationship between our fans mostly because qprs hatred of portsmouth we seem to have always got on so go in peace southampton it would be nice to see you in the top four every season and with charlie austin you may well win the fa cup next season
i think the last thing i would like to say is that his grandad lives at sandbanks in bournemouth so i think his long term idea was always to live there and bournemouth isnt that far from the new forest so he was always destined to go to southampton one way or another, and you southampton fans are going to find charlie a tough old bird he will play on no matter what the pain i imagine he will score prem goals for you right up untill hes 34 so hes got eight seasons to score about 180 to 200 goals he will leave you a legend GOD BLESS YOU CHARLIE MAY YOU FIND SO MUCH HAPPYNESS AND IF WE EVER PLAY YOU,ILL FORGIVE YOU IF YOU SCORE A HATRICK YOU DID TRY TO NEGOTIATE A NEW CONTRACT EIGHTEEN MONTHS AGO BUT QPR BEING IDIOTS DIDNT WANT TO GIVE YOU AN IMPROVED CONTRACT goodbye almighty warrior who knows no master thankgod youve left qpr in the middle olf our disaster get eighty england caps and show the world your class ill know when you are sailing in bournemouth harbour ill see your mast and if you overtake me in your sparking new bentley get on that hooter and give me a blast
yeah only two clubs have seriously taken out our whole ground, one was the obvious MILLWALL who are by far the most dangerous club in london but the portsmouth taking was quite brilliant they put two hundred in the r block ellerslie road stand they kicked off taking every steward in the ground to try to contain it then right at the opposite side of the ground and in the other stand 300 kicked off this being the 637 squad or what ever there name is SO YEAH QPR V POMPEY IS ONE THAT WILL ALWAYS BE A BIT NAUGHTY WHERE AS QPR V SOUTHAMPTON HAS NEVER REALLY GONE RIGHT OFF YOU HAVE BEEN A GOOD CRACK FOR US,OVER THE YEARS,SO WE ARE ALL HAPPY THAT CHARLIE HAS GONE TO YOU AND NOT CHELSEA
Strange how some teams supporters always seem to hit it off? Trips to Loftus Road and Carrow Road were always my favourite as you could almost guarantee a good crack with the locals? Remember also being terrified during a trip to The Den.
YEAH GOING TO THE OLD DEN WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC,THE STATION WAS A MILE AWAY FROM THE STATION AND YOU HAD TO WALK THROUGH HUNDREDS OF LUNATICS but tottenham and west ham go there in massive numbers and absolutely love it boy those cockney boys like to fight where as you say west london and norwich are nice places ipswich another nice place
Loftus Road reminds me of the Dell. Small enclosed ground with no real ability to expand. Good for a nostalgia trip.
it can make a lot of noise kevin keegan said 20 thousand rangers make more noise than liverpools cop,but that was the old day ferdinand has killed the club,i think we will go down eventually its all about management you at southampton have a great manager so you are a great club but looked what happened to poor coventry
Asked a qpr supporting mate for his opinion - got a lengthy reply full of nothing but praise. Injury record a bit of a myth...favourite player since Crouchy... ending with the gem "in fact I wish I were 30 years younger and Charlie Austin was my Dad"
The best football team I ever saw at the Dell was QPR when Dave Sexton was their manager. "In 1974 Dave Sexton joined as manager and, in 1975–76 led QPR to the runners-up spot in the First Division, missing out on the Championship by a single point with a squad containing seven England internationals and internationals from the home nations. After completing their 42-game season, QPR sat at the top of the league, one point ahead of Liverpool who went on to defeat Wolverhampton Wanderers to clinch the title". Liverpool did the same to us. But that was a cracking good QPR side and a joy to watch. Bowles, Parkes, Marsh Leighton-James, Frances, all great footballers.
Couldnt agree more, that was a fabulous QPR side. And yes much like our team when Liverpool just beat us to the Div 1 title - scoring loads of goals.
