Rumours on SSN this morning JFH has made enquiries about this lad.

Good move in my book, he was prolific at Middlesbrough last season and he is young and hungry.

If he has only now just made inquiry's I would be very surprised , they would have been in talks a while back if a realistic target
 
Not sure the lad has a future at Chelsea so we should be looking for a permanent deal, hence why JFH is enquiring to see if he is available and what he would cost.

Beggars can't be choosers Col. But I agree with Watford, there is no point bringing in people on loan unless the management really think we are in a relegation fight.

He's not convinced me either Col, although I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt with respect to the fact he always seems to be out loan and perhaps all those different clubs can be unsettling.

Seems like he needs to abandon this unrealistic hope of making Chelsea's team and start afresh somewhere permanently. If that's with us then hopefully he'll replicate the form he showed up at Middlesborough.
 
I'm not convinced but if he's alongside a big Zamora style striker he's got the skill to be a decent No.10. He may fit in with Washington...
