I don't play in comps, but would love to, though some of these new fangled teams with the wide bases look pretty tough to play against. I'm Northampton based, so not too far for a Saints Subbuteo get together.

let me know if you ever need transport to the games... I'll be going down the A34.

Sounds good.

You will have to try and make a tournament, fatletiss
Reckon you'll love it

My boy is 7, and surprisingly, he and his friends prefer it to a stint on the Wii!

There's hope for the old game yet!

Who knows, this time next year you could be representing England U19s in the World Cup, NARA?
Great to see players ( all ages ) showing an interest in the game.

My lad is 10 and it is up in his bedroom on a board permenantly. His Godfather hand painted him the sash on to a blank team (wide base) for Christmas and it's fab. Correct players and numbers too.

Had a '76 hand painted too, fatletiss

OMG - brilliant. I think you're a bigger geek than me. :emoticon-0100-smile

My biggest regret is when I was 23, I swapped my 1974 Munich Worl Cup for a super nintendo... now that st is worth a few quid.
