In terms of money, Woodward (and the GGs) the order of priority would be as follows: 1. Staying in the premiership 2. Sponsorship and merchandising. 3. Maximising global support 4. Getting into the CL. 5. Winning the title. His top 3 priorities are on schedule. The premiership now generates so much revenue that being part of it is for most clubs the only objective i.e avoiding relegation. The CL monies now do not come close to the revenues of the premiership so missing it is not big deal financially for a club like United. Of course it is a big blow in terms of prestige. Avoiding 18th >>> Coming 4th

No team in the league has won more than 5 of the last 10. Sunderland have won 4 of the last 10 and they're 19th!!
Incredible unprecedented season. Most teams have won 2 or 3 of the last six. One had won 4 and only one had won one. The champions are lying in 14th (and lucky not to be much worse!)
The chavs were shouting for joy as they said they "snatched Pedro under United's nose".
