Thanks, nobody knew that, we all thought it was willie mullins that was winning, not the horses Shame its only a maiden hurdle against one way down the pecking order.
Didn't even see that Oddy <whoops> I wouldn't a been telling you to lump on I suspect anyway! Mullins horse ran well enough against Tombstone and they fancy him a bit for the Supreme so decent yardstick beaten. Yeah, I'd suspect the Bumper bet can add the bonfire too lol That was some ride by Ruby today Got to think Killutagh Vic would be ahead of Shaneshill for the JLT now anyway. I'd have him well ahead in fact.
Amazing how Ruby was able to assess the condition of the horse within the blinking of an eye and deemed him fit enough for a strong finish
Just seen that Killultagh Vic recovery, did brilliant to stay upright and then to actually win was excellent. It certainly gave what looked a formality of a race some excitement.
I did think that a bit myself Oddy. Was reminiscent of Kauto's spill in debut, when he remounted, and of course he was ruled out for the remainder of the season. Hopefully the horse is fine in the coming days. For a horse who can stay 3m, he showed quite the turn of foot to pick them up and win going away.
Beefy will love this but KILLULTAGH VIC is one Irish horse that I really fancy for the festival, even before today. We actually found out a lot more about him today than we would have done had he popped the last. Ruby of course it has to be said was brilliant to sit and then ride the finish with only one iron. Instinct obviously took over as he clearly would have had little idea regarding the animals welfare.
One Mullins horse I ain't on Backed Sizing John for the JLT but after watching the Vic today I'm far from confident.
