Can't argue with that... damned wanted to try <whistle>

I will give him praise when it's due. I didn't watch much of the game today, but against Newcastle and Swansea I thought he played well by his standards. He's a limited player and often gives away needless fouls and gives the ball away. HOWEVER, despite that, he's also shown glimmers of creativity which should be recognised. Against Newcastle he played a lovely ball down the channel for Rooney to run onto in a 1 on 1 with the goalie which he fluffed, sadly. If Rooney had scored that pass would have been highlighted by everyone imo. There were other examples too. But it doesn't take away from those faults I mentioned earlier.

He was beyond **** against Newcastle, what game were you watching?

Anyway, let's not dwell on such things other than to say if he played well today how ****ing dire must Liverpool's midfield be? Were the two legends of Anfield, Henderson and Lucas, nullified by our dandelion?

As you might have gathered, I didn't get to watch but listened in the car and scared the living **** out of my wife and kids when Rooney (who is ****e if I recall correctly) scored. Love it.

Any win against that lot is brilliant. Hats off to the Dutch messiah!

Read what I've written. While Fellaini has his faults... and there are many, if he can contribute to the performance and it's better than his usual sh1te self, then those things deserve to be mentioned. He made forward passes and tried to link up meaningfully on occasion. He also played Rooney through on one occasion as I mentioned with a very good pass from deep. That doesn't take away from the countless mistakes he made, but he contributed more than he usually does.

Rooney has scored in 2 games from open play. That hopefully is the beginning of something more meaningful, but lets at least admit he's been dire for the majority of the season. I also accept that (in a huge part) is down to the manner of our football under Van Gaal which hasn't helped.

Damned by faint praise. Still gash in other words.

Did anyone else notice that on the Sunday Supplement this morning they had the Fat Man as a pundit with a picture of LVG behind him?
