Are you saying @astroturfnaut is having a [HASHTAG]#meltdown[/HASHTAG] on his own board? Has he turned on Klopp yet? Or reminded them of his views on Klopp before he joined?
Perversely, while others pick holes in Klopp's tactics, @astroturfnaut is making all sorts of excuses for the manager he doesn't rate. So far he's blamed injuries and the Europa League for Firminho being a show pony who can't finish.

It's the simple fact that a player like Fellaini is at United that grates on me.
How Fellaini is still playing for us is beyond me. He cannot control the ball, cannot pass to a teammate, loses possession and slows the attack. Absolutely useless.

We played **** but this time I am not saying anything about it as the result against the RS trumps it. I'll wait until the next match.

It could be argued that Klopp is a good manager with a crap squad - LvG on the other hand is a crap manager with a good squad. Would the two together work ?

My god you are boring. Take a day off, we've just severely pissed the RS off by winning. Enjoy it pal.

Yeh this is where we go from one extreme to another based on one result. Fellaini is average and barely a squad player. He's actually played reasonably well by his standards in the last 3 games. I said as much in the previous 2 matchday threads... but then I don't base my opinions on just the result.

Anyway, I have to say you can't help having some degree of respect for Klopp. His post-match interview was very well balanced and pragmatic.
I think he has been doing that for a while. He puts in an effort. Other players that are far more skilled need to perform to the best of their talent to earn the right to play. It is as simple as that. No one should just walk into the team, Rooney included. For all of Fellaini's failings, he is always up for the task at hand. I wish others in the squad would step up in effort department, then Fellaini would rightfully be back to the bench. But until then, he has to keep playing.

Can't argue with that... damned wanted to try <whistle>

I will give him praise when it's due. I didn't watch much of the game today, but against Newcastle and Swansea I thought he played well by his standards. He's a limited player and often gives away needless fouls and gives the ball away. HOWEVER, despite that, he's also shown glimmers of creativity which should be recognised. Against Newcastle he played a lovely ball down the channel for Rooney to run onto in a 1 on 1 with the goalie which he fluffed, sadly. If Rooney had scored that pass would have been highlighted by everyone imo. There were other examples too. But it doesn't take away from those faults I mentioned earlier.

Many aplogies - some of us were foolishly engaging in an exchange of opinions on a topic, it won't happen again.

Were they? Seemed like you were moaning again. You can imagine how I came to such a conclusion, based on your history, of moaning.

Anyway, enjoy it, its really not hard.

Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd. And we've played far, far worse and still enjoyed it in past years. Why? Because its Liverpool....

This should have to be explained to any United fan....
