I'll go one better with two words...."grow up".

Carry on with your immature digs at the media, they're tedious. The media report United are interested in McDermott. You say it's deliberate support for them against us. I say, on this occasion you are wrong and the story is true and furthermore they made an official approach for the man. Have it your way, I know what has happened and that's enough for me.

Now leave me alone, I'm watching Chelsea/Everton which I am enjoying a damn sight more than talking to you.

    Leave you alone?
    A) YOU responded to me originally and each time I have posted
    B) I'm responding to your assertions and misrepresentations of my view.

You accused me of saying the story was a case of lazy journalism when I said no such thing...I have questioned why the press continually put stories about spurs managers, staff and players in the public domain for the benefit of big clubs when we make it clear they are not for sale.
It matters not that they asked for permission...like I said, Chelsea asked permission re Arnesen and then leaked it when we refused to get what they wanted...the press have a long history of tapping up our players on behalf of big clubs and it irritates me. Feel free to disagree but disagree with my actual view.
It's not the first time you've done it...on another thread today I made a positive comment re Trippier and your come back was why do people think he is better than Walker when that was not said.. walker was not even mentioned.
And you did it when I made positive comments re Pochettino in the early part of the season and you claimed your insider knowledge of spurs made your view that he was "scruffy and can't talk English properly" was more valid than the views of us that disagreed. And you've done it here claiming your insider knowledge makes you right.
Its an opinion, not a fact mate.
Disagreeing is fine but only if you disagree with what is actually written...otherwise it comes across as irritating and arrogant.

Just cos you have inside knowledge of spurs it don't make your view worth more than others. I don't wish to turn this into a Haig v Piskie hissy fight so I'll stay away from you from now on but do me the courtesy of doing likewise

I hadn't realised you had such a big chip on your shoulder when it comes to the media commenting on things which are going on at our club and also for some of my previous comments which were not intended as personal to anyone.

Your "opinion" is that the media has an agenda with our club. My point is and always has been, is that IN THIS INSTANCE, the media is reporting accurately and that United made an official approach.

Spurs are in the media on a daily basis, it comes with being a big club. Those of us with some maturity have learned to live with it.

I will leave you alone from now onwards. My pleasure, believe me.

Well I hope that's all out of your systems now. Lets get back to the subject at hand.

Arsenal leading the title race only for Wilshere to have "Gerrard slip" type moment to throw it all away, or Chelsea getting relegated. Which one would you rather see?

Well only one has a realistic chance of happening...Wilshere will never be fit enough to play for the goons!

Chelsea being relegated...John Terry crying ... would be fantastic!

Chelsea going down. Makes top 4 next season slightly less hard.

I tend to believe that there is a direct correlation between Chelsea going down and the discovery of a cure for cancer.

    From The Mail Online:

"There was a long pause as Arsene Wenger considered the notion for a moment before deciding, firmly, that the abuse he gets at the Britannia Stadium from Stoke fans is worse than from Arsenal's rivals Tottenham at White Hart Lane. It comes to something when a manager is hated more by supporters of a club 150 miles up the M1 than fans of their bitterest foes."

    Gentlemen,that sounds like a challenge...

Martinez was fuming after that game yesterday and you can understand why.
Appalling offside decision that's cost them a deserved win. No idea how that was missed.

Indeed! I'm unable to contribute personally at the moment. However, our pride surely cannot allow Whinger to suffer greater abuse elsewhere!

We must up our game to reassure him that it's us who hate him and his team the most, not some parvenus from the midlands!

Liverpool V Man Utd today. Normally a match I'd look forward to but now its really just a mid table clash (9th v 6th) involving one of the most boring teams of the premiership era. Would not normally want the scousers to win but in the our interest and in the interest of football in general I hope they win today.

draw for me would be a good result.

  19. I can see the argument for a 'Pool win - United are currently more of a threat. A draw, of course, would mean that both teams lose points against our win against Sunderland.

However, I cannot bear 'Pool winning. I hate everything about them - their stupid fans, the over-blown media hype, the thick ex-'Pool clown-pundits, the false sentimentality, their forever living off the glories of the 70s, Robbie Fowler, King Kenny, Tramp Lawro, Tom O'Cooner, Cilla Black records, Bread, Gerry and the fcuking Pacemakers, hub-caps - the lot!

So, no, I want 'Pool to get mullered. I always want 'Pool to get mullered.

It was diabolical to say the least and he is right to feel pissed off. That being said, to build a two-goal cushion and then lose it in the space of about two minutes against a Chelsea side who have been **** all season was very poor and that is why they are mid table. They're not solid enough at the back and until that gets addressed, they will not be pushing up the league.
