I thought we were just ok. We can't seem to break down well organised, packed defenses. We badly needed width yesterday instead of trying to pick our way through a congested midfield. It's something we really need to work on as we're encountering more and more of it, especially at home. We seem to do well against teams that come to play, but badly against those who come to defend and hit on the break. Sunderland played just like Leicester, only Leicester were better at it - and a bit luckier.
The 4-1 flattered you to be honest. After Cattermole handed you the equaliser, it was only really Dembele's strike that didn't have an element of luck about it. Erikson's defelected shot and a late pen made the score look good though.
Yes, 4-1 flattered us a bit. The luck we had with deflections, etc, just made up for the luck we didn't have against Leicester. As I say, there was very little to choose between the way the two of them set up against us, just Leicester were better at it.
.. go on then.. you've put in the effort..in fact, shown more 'offensive' intent than your club has all season.
It was 'lucky' in the way that you sometimes see them given and sometimes you don't. I meant that the numerous shots and deflections, etc, we had against you all went your way. Yesterday, they went our way.
??? I may have missed something there? Only joking mate. It's a marathon not a sprint as they say, and I'm sure Spurs will be there come the end of the season. You're playing well imo
I was joking too. You said you were expecting lots of gooner likes, so when the first one came up....TBH, I was expecting it to be Piskie!
What I love about all of this, is that's the same tiny gang of idiots sniggering at the back of the class whenever Pixie calls "wum fcuk-up" on anything embarrassing to him. He bribes them with "likes," and they bend over to take his routine rodgering! It's quite touching, in a way.
what a rant. To be fair, your daily wum **** ups are becoming a bit predictable these days. I don't even have to lure you into them anymore.
The 'shrewd genius' Danny Trotter will be praying that some mug starts to pay off a slice of the £100k per week (yes, per week !) that he's still paying Adebayor. Spurs' rivals Crystal Palace are reported to be interested, but the question is how much will the pay him ? £25k per week maybe ? That would still saddle the third Trotter brother with another £75k per week to pay a player who plays for a rival club.
