RANGERS’ third and final trip of a hectic week sees them travel to Rotherham United’s New York Stadium for the first time this afternoon.

Following hot-on-the-heels of Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s men are still searching for a first win under the new R’s gaffer, but will head north buoyed by an improved away performance at Ewood Park in midweek.

Over 1,000 Rangers fans are set to make the long journey to South Yorkshire, as the R’s take on a Rotherham side in fine form on their home patch.

Neil Redfearn’s side head into Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash in the wake of a 2-0 win over high-flying Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday night.

That victory – their third on the spin in front of their own supporters following recent triumphs over Hull City and Bolton Wanderers – lifted the Millers into 20th place.

Danny Ward gave the hosts the lead just before half-time as he volleyed in from Joe Mattock's cross.

Brighton improved after the break, but Matt Derbyshire made the game safe for the Millers with the hosts’ second, to give Redfearn’s side their first win in four, following three away defeats on the spin.

Presumably something like this:

------------------------------Smithies------------------------------
Perch------------Onuoha------------Hall----------Konchesky
---------------------Luongo------------Henry---------------------
Phillips-------------------------Fer-------------------------Hoilett
-------------------------------Polter---------------------------------

Crap fullbacks as usual. Let's see if Luongo can play the deeper role that many on here have been calling for.
