Bolton Wanderers' winding-up hearing at the High Court has been adjourned until 22 February.
The Championship's bottom club - who are £172.9m in debt - received a winding-up petition from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs for about £600,000 in unpaid taxes.
£172.9m in debt! Someone should be locked up for that sort of mismanagement. There are going to be a lot of people who will struggle when they fail to get the money the club owes them. Nevermind the nurses the £600K could afford if they paid their tax bill!

I seem to recall Phil Gartside advocating a closed shop Premier League with no promotion or relegation when Bolton were in the top division, he must have known what was around the corner !
