It is like saying the chances of PSV winning the CL are heavily stacked against it happening but it's possible. Of course it is possible because PSV are still in the competition. So hardly worth saying then isn't it?

It is like you are arguing with yourself. "It will not happen but it is possible" . Sunderland or Newcastle winning the title. It is possible but will not happen. Why say it?

A little less likely though don't you think?
This team won the Premier league last season, so we know they are capable of great things.
The reason for their poor form is in part a mystery, and a combination of many things.
There is no reason to suspect that these Newcastle or Sunderland sides are good enough to win the title.
You know its completely different and are being a moron.

Rather than dream about winning the CL I would look at the other end of the table as the premiership status is all:

"Relegation threat is real" - Hiddink.
