He has a point in fairness, as SSN were chucking out stats earlier showing Leicester have the lowest pass completion rate AND the fewest passes between goals, in the Prem.
Which would suggest they take a hoofball/park bus hit on the break, style of play.
Not knocking them btw.
Pleased to see them doing well, and is good for the prem imo, that the so called 'weaker' teams are giving good accounts of themselves.

The Spurs, Leicester argument rumbles on, I take it you'll all go your seperate ways once the cup game is done?
.. we are seriously considering letting them win the cup replay, both to stop their sulking (which has even spread to their players) - and to give them even more games to play
... plus we should probably concentrate on this title battle thingy now

... you can always dare to dream and, to be fair, they keep surprising us (the fans) and perhaps themselves .. I'd love to finish in a European spot because that would be a wonderful acheivement in itself, Top 4 would be absolutely amazing ... title? ... only if Arsenal and City (perhaps others) keep on misfiring ... if we have a chance of winning it come the final game, I might just then start thinking that this is not a dream after all ... the only other time I can remember us being this close was me playing Football Manager when my 16 year old was a toddler

I think you have a shot as City and Arsenal keep messing it up. Key players will need to stay fit all season and you could do with getting knocked out of the cup but you're in there and are still playing well.
We have Sanchez, Cazorla, Coquelin to come back though and we've just signed another DM, so we should realistically expect to be more consistent for the run in. HIAG has said that Arsenal will be in a 'spiral downwards' from February though, so I will of course be monitoring that claim for him
I don't think that he was actually criticising them, but rather our struggles against sides that play like that this season.
They counter-attack and try to win set-pieces, which they're good on. They play a lot of long balls.
Those are just facts and we don't create enough or defend as well as we normally do against those tactics.
They're a lot like Stoke were under Pulis. It's no coincidence that only West Brom have hit more long balls than them in this campaign.

It's working well for them. I've no idea why some of their fans seem to get very upset if people describe the way that they play.

It's proving effective. There's a load of bollocks written about 'style' and some ridiculous snobbery in the modern game towards sides who play in a more direct manner. It's up to the opposition to nullify the threat and teams just aren't in Leicesters case.

To be honest I couldn't be bothered to read the whole article but the headline caught my eye.
From what I've seen they play long passes but aren't route one in the traditional sense at all. I don't think they have the players for that unless Ulloa plays. I'd be interested to know what's considered a long pass.
Depends on the player. Anything over 5 yds is a long pass to Scweinsteiger, for instance!
Seriously, they have played numerous long balls relying on Vardy's pace to get on the end of them.
