It appears that JDG is coming home for another loan deal and we are also interested in Steven Naithsmith.Personally I liked JDG when he played for us before but I think we have enough midfielders as for Naithsmith why not,the only thing that concerns me is that Norwich declined, why?

Neither for me , but just an opinion .
I would however like to inquire about Peter Crouch from Stoke , I think he is exactly what the doctor ordered .

Well Swansea are interested in re-signing Scott Sinclairfrom fellow strugglers Aston Villa, according to the Birmingham Mail.

Sinclair, who has three-and-a-half years left on his deal at Villa, left Swansea to join Manchester City in 2012 after two years at the Liberty Stadium.

Crouch, not the same player now and not sure he would suit your style of play.

Sinclair, he's not good enough and has been shocking for Villa.

De Guzman, he knows the team and style of play, could be a decent addition.

Naismith, A very good footballer, would definitely be the one to improve your team, out of the four mentioned.

Crouch brings the ball down and holds it well , his touch is impeccable and with a new start at a new club would light a fire under him imo .And he's a year older than Defoe so he has more life expierence (whistling)

Heard a rumour that bony is coming back. Montero going to Watford.
De guzman coming back and doumbia
Bony by all accounts won't cost us anything as city still owe us a wedge for him.

Please be true for all except montero

De Guzman and Bony in with Montero going out? I'd take that if it means having Bony back.

Something must have happened with Monetro for Curt to not pick him? Not showing desire in training?

I've always thought this about him as well, mate. So far though, the one attempt he's made at playing in a top league has ended in failure.

On a separate note, I really don't trust the African signings as there's big rumours that we have no idea of how many players from Africa, tell us the truth about their ages. Doumbia is 'officially' 28, this has been disputed for ages though. These pictures are from a couple of years back when he was mid-twenties...

I see what you mean but he's proven to be able to score against premier league opposition scoring goals in the champions league against City & United scoring six goals from six Champions League meetings with Premier League opposition, getting on the scoresheet against Manchester United earlier this season. He's definitely one for us considering its January and lack of adequate strikers at this level available

If this lad is in his 50s, I'd still pick him before Gomis <laugh>

I'd keep Gomis if he was allowed to be offside like Defoe

Gomis should have started the Sunderland game with those officials.
