Predictions for the Stoke game below please, and just letting you know that this will be the last week that I'll be running this so unless somebody else wants to to take it on (I can forward the spreadsheets I've got set up to anyody kind enough) then it looks like it's between Danary and Russ to see who our champion is.

Cheers Rick, appreciate you offering fella, but thinking about it I'm happy to carry on, it's not actually a massive task for me to do (helps break up the day at work at least) and I do enjoy it so forget what I said above, I'll keep it up until the end of the season.

I've actually been showing some improvement in the league position of late as well so I'd be mad to give it up now!

It's not so much getting on top of me, more that I'm spending less time on the forum these days as I seem to have fallen out of love with it lately for one reason or another. I'm still going to be lurking and I will keep this competition going, I'm just not going to be getting involved in the debates as I really can't be bothered arguing with people any more, and there are plenty of things I've been reading on here that I'd usually been all over like a rash, but think I've got a bit tired of it all over the years and so will just let you lot get on with it.

I get the impression of late that one or two (possibly just one) regular poster is just typing inflammatory and totally unfounded things purely to provoke reactions from people and to start arguments, he has actually admitted as much and expressed disappointment that he "wasn't getting the reactions he was hoping for" recently and that was the final straw for me, it's too pathetic for words and as I'm going to be 40 later this year I kinda figured I'm a bit past that kind of 'banter'.

Too many of my favourite and best posters have left as well, it's not the same experience for me as it used to be, but its still an awesome little community going on here, with the vast, vast majority of you coming across as top, top fellas. I'll still post occasionally and I will keep on reading the threads - particularly during the transfer window - but definitely think it's time to rein in my activity somewhat <ok>

I can understand that Tony and I was similarly disenchanted by the baiting incident. that's not the way to generate genuine discussion. Good to know you may be lurking though, but I for one will miss your inputs.:emoticon-0148-yes:

(I had 29 pts after the Villa game, and predicted a correct 1 - 0 against Saints, and a half correct 1 - 2 against Man C)
