I know this is a strange one. I am just watching a programme on National Geographia on the death penalty specifically in Texas. I was always a firm believer in that we should bring it back having watched I am not so sure, would like to know peoples views on this, Should there be for certain rimes and not others or should it never be the case that we can legally kill someone.

Guys tell me what you think.

Agree. And as both PGF and roof have said, can we be sure. In some cases yes we are 100% sure. For those cases I'd support it. As roof also says, it would have to be in a case by case basis. It would also act as an extremely effective deterrent too.

Maybe we are wrong but I firmly believe you are right with that point.

If a fool proof way to prove guilt was devised so there was absolutely no doubt of guilt if scrutinized by any outside body that wanted to investigate, then the very elderly, weak and defenseless that are victims of premeditated murder and ****philes, terrorists scum etc...can all be burnt at the stake imo. But we must be as sure of their guilt as we are about Hinley and the many other filth that have been kept alive at great expense !
If all of the criteria could be met then how about back dating some justice for the likes of Soldier Lee Rigby and little April from north Wales and their families, and many others that have been murdered by known scum that are sitting pretty instead of swinging from a rope at H.M.Pleasure !

It is interesting to hear the replies, because if you listen to the politicians there is no wish for it being brought back. Should there be a referendum of all to see peoples views.
