Morning all.

With everything that's happened at the club over the last two decades being pretty ludicrous and the last five years particularly frustrating (insomuch as football can be frustrating). I was just asking myself why we've never seen large-scale fans' protests at the stadium or in the crowd against the running of the club. I don't even think i've heard a chant.

I am absolutely not suggesting that we should, it's just that I know a lot of people have been very angry and it seems to be snowballing, whereas at other clubs, you only have to have a floodlight failure (remember those..) and people come out in force.

Do we have a different mentality? Are we more blasè? Do we simply not care!?

Chelsea would have had their post-it note banners out as soon as Briatore set through the door!
 
Of course we care but what good would it do, we are all angry at what's gone on but protests not for me, as regards others on here I'll see there comments if any.
 
At least we still have a club, that's probably why. We could have gone out of business.
We still could of course, but the likelihood is much less.
 
well yeah the protests need to start sooner rather than later because there is soon going to be another charlton athletic in the making here you can clearly see how they lost alan curbishley and went to pot much the same at qpr whereby the installation of chris ramsey and now jfh have destroyed our club,every managerialo mistake imaginable was made at the whole game,and no wonder we lost and going to play forest today even if they played there reserves jimmy floyde will lose hes useless im afraid completly useless

I think my point has been misunderstood. I didn't say I agree with it, I think it's idiotic. But it's something I've never seen at QPR in 30 years and I wondered what made QPR different from other clubs, despite going through far more strife.
 
Closest i seem to remember to protests was the "FPR Fulham Park Rangers" fiasco during the "Bullstrode years" i think
 
I think it could have got very nasty in the tango and cash years if they hadn't lucked out with their 400th manager and the 2011 team getting promoted. I loathed their attitude to football, the club and particularly the fans - they didn't even try and hide their contempt for us.
