Good morning all.. I actually prefer Bellusci over Bamba, either way we are a little light at the back, more so when Byram leaves. I have a feeling Norwich will back down on Lafferty towards the end of the month if another team doesn't come in for him. Evans doesn't seem to rate Botaka, was he discovered by Rosler or the head scout? It doesn't sound like Dawson has a future listening to the Evans interview, I think we all expect 2-3 to leave, just a question of who comes in.

Morning all. I agree with the try before you buy policy. Why don't Norwich want to let him come on loan, what are they hiding about him? After all, they owe us a fair few favours by now. January is a difficult time to pick up quality strikers especially when not wanting or able to spend a whole lot. We might have to see out this season with the ones we have. Not fishing mate? I honestly prefer Bellusci and Cooper together, I don't rate Bamba and would prefer Tom Lees back over him. I'm not saying Bellusci is a great defender, just better than Bamba for me I wouldn't mind seeing WJ's suggestion, Wotton in his preferred CB role when Berardi is fit again. Yes I might regret that but Evans is transforming Wootton slowly so who knows if he gets a chance at CB he might be quite good
If Evans can get Wootton playing to his former levels at CB we could have a good defence, let's not forget he has made it into scum's first team in the past so he's no mug.

You (sort of) rate Bellusci, I wouldn't pick him in our local Sunday side, you don't like Evans and I think he is a total breath of fresh air (actually, it has just dawned on me, I think I like him because he deflects attention away from Cellino!!). Don't be fooled by the cunning Celt, that was my idea about Wootton (just wait for a few pages of proof that it wasn't!!). Thought for the day, where are all the pesky pussies? No need to appologise I very rarely join in on banter threads, face to face I love a good wind-up but on a forum it's different for me, I think some of it goes too far but if those participating are okay with it then it's all good, I tend to avoid 90% of it. True I dislike Evans, less so now than day one, my disliking him doesn't mean I haven't been impressed with some of the things he has done. He is slowly winning me over, if we get Lafferty and he scores for fun that would be two steps forward, if we get him and he is a flop two steps back where Evans is concerned.
