has to play even if he's barely up to it. there is NOBODY else. We need to hear on sahko. i think he is out too.
Klopp did not do transfers at BVB either. As long as him and the panel are on the same page it will work out.
yes, but having a bit of a leg up would be much appreciated. Klopp needs to have 3/4 guys he can rely on and i don't see them at anfield immediately. in 18 months there's 2/3 that could be that... but thats a bit of a while away to wait for consistency. This is my point. If klopp's got couple of guys he knows from the scouting at dortmund that are 4mil like lewandoski that would be very useful indeed. There is a technical director at dortmund, like most all german clubs.
It will be interesting if we sign Subotic. When Carragher left the majorityon here were wanting either Sakho or Subotic to replace him. We got Sakho (whoended up replacing Agger really). We could soon have both.
The January window is fast becoming the window where clubs buy players just to loan them back until the end of the season.
yes. I think there are several small issues with January a) its not near the contract end dates in july. Therefore you re not planning on guys leaving and have to replace b) the cup tie rules crazily do not align with transfer window. CL players are cup tied for europa. europa players are not cup tied to CL. You can't transfer between cl teams. IF you play fa cup 3rd round you are uot of fa cup despite being able to transfer... etc etc c) its only a month d) typically its out of blue. and then you find it hard to replace in time e) the games are coming fast. a transfer in or out is disruptive. All in all, points c, d and e do lead to buy a young guy of potential, the selling club get money up front and still have the guy until he can move in the summer... I do think a lot of these guys then end up performing less well for 6 months.
The Guardian today said it was Buvac who spotted Grujic and recommended him to Klopp Is he on the 'commitee'?
No. Not officially according to common knowledge of the mythical committee. He's the first team coach. It depends how Klopp works. Klopp might not be able to wipe his arse without him there for all I know.... he could be in there. All we know is Klopp's comments on scouts showing him videos. Maybe Klopp asked them about the guy and they produced the videos when he did.... who knows. It'd be nice to have a clear person to blame for once
Klopp mentioned that the team were scouting him before he had arrived. I'm sure Buvac did have some say since he's from the same country and familiar with that league and that both he and Klopp had a word with the lad to convince him to join.
No thanks to Subotic - been so poor since his injuries. N'Koulou and Balanta - their contracts expire soon so they are to be had. Both are young-ish and very talented.
Arsenal have launched a £44.6m bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. That is according to reliable Spanish journalist Kike Marin who was the first reporter to break Arsenal's deal for Alexis Sanchez two years ago. Aubameyang has been a long-term target for Arsene Wenger and speculation was rife that he was on course to become Arsenal's first signing of the window when he failed to report for training earlier this week. The Gabon international missed their first session as Dortmund returned from their winter break with a club spokesperson saying he was absent 'for personal reasons'. please log in to view this image Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is wanted by a number of clubs Aubameyang has struck 27 goals this campaign and has also been linked with moves to Liverpool and Manchester United. His team-mate Matthias Ginter appears resigned to losing him but added: "We all hope he'll (Aubameyang) stay." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...make-44.6m-Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang-bid.html
