You said the only reason we won titles was because we bought them. I've shown that to be bollocks as we weren't the biggest spending club in the league.

Probably best that you do make your exit as you've shown yourself up as ill informed and bitter!
Make sure you wipe your hands if you get a chance to lift your cups , you might want to get the cheap metal stains off your hands .The premier league was and is a lesson in greed , and Man U was its best student .Bought the best of everything in support , payed the best for everything , amongst your smoke and mirror figures Stan .

Can I just ask why you keep using and abbreviation of you are instead of your?

Genuinely interested.

Oh, and what does lol mean? I'm not twelve you see.

It would be interesting to see the big spenders in the old Division 1 and see who won those league titles.

To say the PL is bought but Division 1 wasnt is a very strange argument.

Good idea treble , and remember spending has a lot of faces and not just transfer differences .Money clubs spend on training , facilities all , different types of support staff , wages .
Last season You guys spent 215 million on wages , Burnley spent 21 million .

This is true but I think porportionally, spending has always gone hand in hand with the club that won the league. Even in Division 1 back in the day. Things werent any different in principle. What are you gonna do?!

Would be interesting to compare first division and Premier League disparities in ratio , on all spending to see if there is a difference .

There is hope.

Of all clubs, Chelsea won the league in 2014/15 on a negative net spend, and fourth biggest wage bill.

2014/15 was the only season FFP was enforced.

Chelsea: Champions Of FFP

Your knowledge of the club you supported before you reverted back to being a Gooner is shockingly poor.

No, it really wouldn't.

What it will show is that then, as now, clubs actually spent money on players and those who were successful replenished their squads with money they earned. As is now. The fact that the premier league started chucking money at ALL clubs involved is neither here nor there, clubs still bought players and built new stands when it was the football league.

You seem concerned that United have had the temerity to spend their own money in building a bigger stadium or better training facilities, like this is in some way not fair on those that haven't?

That's life buddy, it is how the world works.

Just like the local burger van would be just as successful as McDonalds is if it had the same amount as cash to spend. It doesn't though, deal with it.

Strange analogy, thoughMcDonald's is an American franchise like McUnited

What's strange about it?

I could have used any larger, more successful and hence more wealthy, business and compared it to a minnow really. It was the first thing that came into my head.

Sainsburys and the corner shop good enough?

Chelsea is more like Tootsies!

Ah, the 80s: blue cheese burgers and crinkle chips.

They are no more in London, does Tootsies still exist in the provinces?
