Did you watch the "documentary" on sky the other night ? ..all highly entertaining ...The truth is out there !
I have heard it rumoured there are plenty of dodgy women on facebook , but had not realised aliens also hang out there .
Already and its only the 6th! Baring in mind your only allowed 25 players in a squad (8 home grown) and of course I'd say 90% of the current squad are doing a fine job.
I would be VERY surprised to see any of our regular players going at this point......shocked even... so some of these rumours are scary!
Couldn't agree more. I know it's only the Star but if we get serious bids from AC Milan for Capoue and Arsenal for Deeney then we could be in trouble.
Watford haven’t offered Emmanuel Adebayor a contract - contrary to reports in the national media - as the Hornets are no longer pursuing the striker, the Watford Observer understands. It has been reported the Golden Boys have approached the Togo international with a short-term deal which would run until the end of the campaign. We understand this is not the case. Earlier in the season Watford did explore the possibility of signing the 31-year-old this month, primarily as cover from Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo. But the Hornets’ form in the top flight over the past month has seen the threat of relegation significantly ease and, as a result, they have decided to pursue other targets. Adebayor, who has also played for Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid, has been a free agent since leaving Tottenham Hotspur in September. Spurs are still paying his £100,000-a-week wage and any club who attempt to sign the striker will have to come to an agreement with the north London side over how much of that sum they would cover.
I'm not too concerned about potential exits from the squad . The Pozzos and Flores know what they are doing . Any robbing out of the squad will likely happen only if big money is offered and a suitable replacement is already in place . After all , every player has a price .We have no need to make forced sales as in the past and the club is growing , so I'm a 'appy 'ornet . The rapid turnover of players seems to be the way things happen these days . Most of the rumours are paper talk ..the press have got to write something down to justify their existence .
Capoue has been linked to AC Milan.. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/01/0...rested-in-signing-watford-star-etienne-capou/
I think the press have had enough of our success already and are just trying to upset the apple cart. Best to ignore.... apparently Deeney was seen in the Arsenal training ground negotiating directly with Arsene Wenger himself: apparently Gomes and Abdi kicked balls over the hedge and Troy had to negotiate their return...
No longer pursuing Adebayor.. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/14184101.Watford_have_not_offered_a_contract_to_Adebayor/
This is great news ,There will be times this season when things don't go well and the last thing we need is players not all pulling the the same direction .
Don't you dare!!! http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...o-leave-admits-watford-striker-a3150391.html?
Only a matter of time before he is playing in front of larger home crowds , I'm sure the Pozzos will do very well out of the transfer . Players are merely commodities / mercenaries ... I'm guessing it's always been the same , just seems worse now . Have been watching old "Big Match " reruns from 1979, on ITV player ... saw Brentford v Watford 3.3 last night .... This Watford side played against my school team .Herts schools champions at the time , we lost 18.1. Think the games were more entertaining on the rough pitches ...also great seeing teams filled with Brit's .. .The good ol'days .
I have seen the reports of Odion Ighalos comment. What was the question that got the answer? I think it was part of a conversation where Odion had said he was not leaving and the journalist then said - what about Manchester United? Which player think rightly would say no straight away to that.
