    let me get this straight
    Couts etc won't pass to Benteke cos they don't rate him
    they won't press cos he doesn't
    they cannot score when he plays because he lives
    they won't run beyond him because he is cursed

    worked the ball well to the box, need to just keep moving the ball and work the openings. Don't get frustrated and shoot on sight

    The pressing falls down if one person doesn't do it because then there is too much ground to cover. Its all about triggers and when to press. Surely you can see this?

    Yup... it's a bit of an excuse. They have shown tonight they know how to against a team giving them space.

    Why can't they (Lallana, coutinho etc etc) do it all the time against side that don't give us room.

    Do these side simply avoid shorter passing in their own half so there's nothing to really press?

    Are stoke coughing up ball by playing facing their own goal in their own half.

    yes i can see it but can you see that you blame him for all our offensive failings and absolve Firm and Couts from criticism - i mean the excuse for Couts constantly cutting inside and shooting from 25 yards wastefully is just pathetic
