Firmino, Lallana certainly do press. Coutinho's level has dropped.

But the reason it's so evident is because ALL of them are pressing. Benteke is lazy and it falls down. It's no coincidence.

The pressing falls down if one person doesn't do it because then there is too much ground to cover. Its all about triggers and when to press. Surely you can see this?

Yup... it's a bit of an excuse. They have shown tonight they know how to against a team giving them space.

Why can't they (Lallana, coutinho etc etc) do it all the time against side that don't give us room.

Do these side simply avoid shorter passing in their own half so there's nothing to really press?

yes i can see it but can you see that you blame him for all our offensive failings and absolve Firm and Couts from criticism - i mean the excuse for Couts constantly cutting inside and shooting from 25 yards wastefully is just pathetic
