But I don't like football enough anymore I guess to give a crap about other teams. Anyway I'll certainly be reading the transfer thread a lot less if there's a load of other stuff I have to read through.

Well if he can be arsed, Chazz could put any rumours or confirmed transfers regarding us on the first page, then you wouldn't have to trawl through.

I bet he can't be arsed. He won't be arsed.

I don't believe that Elmo will leave unless we fail to get promoted this season, Bruce has shown him ultimate loyalty and I fully expect that he'll repay that.

He hasn't been repaying it on the pitch, arguably our worst player this season for me.

SB said in a recent interview that Elmo's form had been affected by speculation

Burnsy always goes on about Elmo getting a new agent last summer and the thought of more money has turned his head

There's not a lot loyalty in football anymore LB, too much money involved in it - I've thought Elmo has been playing like a man on his way out for months, I hope I'm wrong.

They also don't play natural right back/left backs (or haven't been recently). They've been lining up with four centre backs across the back four and Chester was still struggling to get in.

I agree with that, but he and Dave are just too alike; either player with Rosie would have been fine in the 4-4-2, if that was Bruce's planned shape, but did he know what he wanted?

I think that was quite early in the season. But, it's a fact, he has not been as good as he can be, but he is a natural RWB, as is Dave, attacking midfielders, not specialist defenders. Simples.

A RWB or a LWB is a defender, just a defender with attacking intentions, it's just the way the game has evolved.

It reads more that two clubs have previously been in for him and...

May be still interested? I don't read it as they have made another offer and it says he won't go anywhere until summer.

KingFut can confirm that Everton have made two offers for Elmohamady already, as well as an offer from West Brom with both clubs interested in bringing the right-wing back to the club either during this winter transfer window or in the summer.

Winter Transfer window was the key part to me. I think the West Brom interest is new as they signed Chester in the summer to play RB. Surely they would just have bought Elmo in the summer instead, Chester is hardly getting a look in.
