Agreed. What are the chances of Hazard getting in the Villa team with his current form? Chelsea must be kicking themselves for letting go the better Belgian so cheaply.
Hazard would get into the Villa team with one leg. Being fair though, De Bruyne looked pants when I saw him and I never thought he would hold down a place.
Without doubt, hindsight is a great thing to have.
The thing is that he is on a long contract and Madrid obviously rate him, so they'll have to pay and will do so. They know that when his head is right he is class. Whatever you think.
We got £18m for him: a good deal for Hazard and Willian's understudy, who are both better all-round players.
How his value went up £37m after one season at Wolfsburg I will never know.
He was worth maybe £25m tops when City paid £55m for him.
If he has a couple of title winning seasons for City then he may be a £50m player.
He is responsible for City conceding lots of goals; a £30m player tops atm and not as good as Willian (yet).
Some may argue his lack of tracking back may cost City the title
