It was a top quality strike.

Would have been topped by that Besic volley if it had gone in. Close game this.

Yeah, second half is. First half was so one sided if it had been a fight they'd have considered stopping it.

Problem is, for all our possession and territory, we don't create enough goal scoring opportunities.

Everton have been the better team in the second half, but this one could go either way.

Really good game that. Spurs dominated the first half but clung on for a point at the end.

I thought the second half was pretty even. First half was ridiculously one sided.

Agree about the first half. Everton were the better team in the 2nd half, they were quicker to the ball and made the best chances. Spurs were a bit fortunate to come away with a point in the end to be honest.

Why is HIAG the clown so quiet? If Arsenal drew, he'd be giving it large about 'the real Arsenal showing up' and bla bla bla. So what happened now that the mighty Spurs dropped 2 points in a game they were dominating and should have put to bed during the first half?

What we saw today was the real Spurs, the bottlers, who always like to show potential, but when it really matters, fail to come through. Just like when they bottled it and lost to Newcastle at home.

The draw against us was another fine example, Spurs were by far the better team, should have won the game, Arsenal had many injuries, tired legs, and yet Spurs still couldn't beat us and we managed to equalise through Kieran Gibbs of all people. Once again demonstrating how Spurs, when it matters, always fail.

It would not surprise me in the least if Spurs even bottle making top 4 this year, which for me, is their most realistic expectation, talk of potential champions is a nice joke, lol, but I can see them bottling top 4 to either United or Liverpool.

You were clearly the better team in the first half, but Everton dominated that second half. It was a very similar game to the Watford one where it could have gone either way. You have to say that Spurs have been quite fortunate to come away from those games with 4 points, as both could quite easily ended up as defeats. Fair play though, you're still gathering points, even when riding your luck.

Er, no, I don't have to say that. We matched Everton for most of the second half. Yes, they were far better than the first half, but that wouldn't have been difficult!

Bit like Arsenal beating Newcastle yesterday, or city winning or united...all teams need to gain points when not at their best...personally I think hitting the woodwork twice was really unlucky...especially the Kane effort which ran across the front of the goal before going out for a goal kick.
If those had gone in it would have turned their crowd against them and their heads would have dropped. But that's the way things go... after the Newcastle result we have beaten Southampton away, Norwich at home, Watford away at Everton away and got 10 points over the xmas period...the best in the league so things ain't really bad at the moment.

Yep, we were poor yesterday but got all 3 points. You know what they say about champions when they don't play well and still win ? .......

We played on the Thursday night away in Europe before playing you so the tired legs argument is nonsensical tbh. We also had lots of injuries but the media ignored them... Chadli, Bentaleb, Njie and Son had just returned to the bench.

If drawing to you at your place, having been "far the better team, 3 days after an away trip in Europe while missing players says negative things about spurs then surely it points to negative things about Arsenal.

As for the rest of your post I think that is aimed to wum Hiag so I will stay away from that

Yep I have heard it, but you whined incessantly about our luck last week...those who get top 4 do the same...they get points while not being the best team at times...luck can and does play a huge role in football so stop with your bitching <laugh>

Who did you play? Are they anything comparable to Bayern Munich? The current best team in Europe?

Having to play away against some unknown European team, is not even comparable to playing Munich, with an injured squad, and then again having to play 3 days later with no room for changes.

I didn't say we were lucky, I said we were poor. But overall we still did enough to earn our victory. Against Watford you were straight out lucky, with the ball being 4/5th over the line with a minute to go. Keep your bitch grenades your own side of the fence :)

  20. That's the difference between us this season and other seasons. In previous seasons, we would have lost that game.
