The Can't shoot comment was about the ACM players. Lallana is a soft lad who struggles to kick the ball more than 5 yards, Couts gets 1 in 10 on target and Firimino keeps hitting the woodwork or the keeper.

If they can't (wont) get into the box then their long range shots need to improve drastically.

But after Bentekes 1on1 against Sunderland and the open goal against Leicester I'm inclined to say he can't shoot either.

Except he scored the first off a perfect accidental through ball.... and that's not the first good finish of balls through either.

Those two misses show real lack of confidence.

Remember hoddle saying Owen was not a natural goal scorer after he missed one similar....

None of them can whip in a set piece either. Our work in the box is also lousy but the ball in is easy to defend off them.

On the point about coaching, IMO you need to KISS (keep it simple stupid). When you are teaching or coaching the most important thing is that you teach to the level of student/player in front of you. It's all about pitching to the the correct level (Zone of Proximal Development).

Anyway Gerrard might not sound the most advanced but maybe when talking/coaching players they 'get' it due to the way he explains it.

bojan available for 10 million apparantly has a buy out clause, we should at least try and get him maybe even take a punt on pato who is in talks with stoke city at the mo according to some sources unrealiable sources i may add.

Chris Bascombe reported that we have a budget of £20m.

I would definitely take a punt on Pato, type of attacker we need. He, Firmino and Coutinho ...

Loved Pato few years back, shame what has happened to his career so far but would still be quite excited if we did sign him.

At the right price, I would take him. He's over his injury worries, scoring goals and creating (albeit in the Brazilian league).

Lightening quick, skilful, can play wide or centrally. Anything less than £10m and I'll go for it.

Issue with pato is he's only ever played in Brazil and Italy, two leagues which are quite slow.

Not it sure how he's adapt to the premiership which is far more quicker and players are stronger.

Benteke, Milner, Lallana, Lovren, Downing, Carroll, Adam.

Players who have played in the PL and are slow as sh*t. <ok>

Not having a go mate, just thin it's a myth that foreign players are more likely to struggle with the demands of the PL than British based players.

Thats not what I said. Most of best players prem have seen have been foreign.

My point is he's only played in two leagues where historically players have then struggled to adapt when moving to England.

I can't think of many if any who have come directly from South America to the prem and been successful. Oscar possibly? Other than that, mostly have failed.

Sinilaly, can't think of many that have come from having only played in Italy to the prem and been a hit either in recent times. Aquaman, Mutu, Shevchenko, players who did well in Italy but couldn't adapt to the prem because it's so different in terms of pace.

Does it mean he wouldn't be successful? Of course not, but if yore comparing risk, then it's far greater than players who have played in other leagues which are more similar to England.

foreign players haven't had the **** kicked out of them for ten years+ before moving to the prem, unlike the British youngsters. Reading Gerrard's autobiog, quite interesting how he says he could tell within two training sessions who would be cut out for the prem. Alberto and Aspas, far too lightweight. I'm worried Firmino is going to go the same way. In the prem you get kicked to **** and hounded down.

Grujic set to sign on Monday.

€7m plus 10% of next transfer and will go back to them for rest of the season with Red Star paying us €1m for the loan.

Considering ng they are 25 points clear at the top of the table you'd think they can make do without him and actually probably won't play him as mch so they can plan for next season.
