I really want him, but if we are signing Pinto, we don't need him. Unless Whittaker gets sold, and Martin is seen as a CB for now on.

Rumours Redmond isn't happy at the moment (being the boo boy while being the clubs top scorer can do that) and plenty of talk about Stoke sniffing around - with us apparently looking at Byram and Jordan Graham, and Redmonds less than cryptic tweet, I'll be surprised if he's still here come Feb. Byram would compliment Brady on the other side, and has looked impressive when played further forward this season... Would be gutted to lose Redmond but maybe for the best if the idiots can't get behind the kid.

I agree, some of the **** Redmond's been getting has been ridiculous, some of those pricks who call themselves fans on the Facebook groups need to get a grip, he has no competition for his position really in the guise of another traditional right sided winger, also his 21 years old that's a year older then the Murphy twins who are plying their trades in lower leagues, people need to be patient.

The Stoke rumour seems to surface because his best mates with Jack Butland but then positionally his got Arnautovic, Shaqiri, Bojan and Affellay miles ahead of him, after that he'll have to scrum it out with Johnny Walters and Peter Odemwingie for a look in. In the summer when contracts are in question they might have a snoop though.

I remember similar comments in relation to Brady.

8m for a utility player who'll be 30 by the start of next season - tough one to justify for me. That said, if he comes in I'll zip it and get behind it... Wouldn't ever be a bad signing but I've a feeling we'll see our rivals put £8 million to much better use this window. I do however think that he'd be very much the kind of voice you'd want in the dressing room. Brady was less money, great age and had just had a strong season in the prem - i couldn't understand the issue, we were getting a steal...

Oops, apologies <ok>
or was I? I'll be glad to see a new punctuation mark/emoticon that is a short cut to display irony/sarcasm. I think it would prevent a number of flame wars, possibly even star wars betwixt folk with different ideas of how the global language is expressed forthwith. Wasn't a backward question mark mooted at some point as an answer to this? Surely a solution must come sooner rather than later.

retirement homes and maternity wards...

I'm not saying Naismith is a bad player, but £8M fecking quid !

You often say we need to start spending the money we have and now we are you say it's too much?!

Naismith is a proven prem player who scores goals from midfield. I really hope this deal foes through soon.
