Agreed. There'll always be a place in the Prem for strikers like Carroll.

Remember Duncan Ferguson? No skill, no pace, no brain; but he was a big, brave lad who knew how to put his head through a brick wall, and that scared the **** out of defences!

To be fair, Fergurson was pretty good on the ground too.

We'll see HIAG. They are only 3 points from 4th at the moment. Granted that could change tomorrow, but you can't write them off just yet. They had a great start to the season, then were affected by injuries. They've had Payet, Lanzini, Reid, Jelavic, Cresswell and Victor moses out. It would be like Spurs losing Kane, Erikson, Alli, Dembele, Vertonghen and Lamela all at the same time.
No, it really wouldn't. They aren't starters for West Ham.
It would be like us having Eriksen, Pritchard, Vertoghen, N'Jie, Rose and Chadli out, maybe.

Chav FC currently leading at Palace, 3 big points to be taken to shift them a bit further away from the drop zone.

.. might be ..if you consider beating Chelsea, drawing with both Manchester clubs, losing at Anfield by one goal and not getting beaten at home by Bournemouth as a loss of steam :)

Erm...I think you may have replied to the wrong thread!? Either that, or your cryptic comment has lost me...

Big win for the Chavs and big chance missed for Palace.

I bet you were pulling your tiny pecker, hoping for a Palace win, so that you could wum us Spurs fans with some ****e about them making a "shift" on us!

I think we all know who has the 'tiny pecker power shift fantasies' on here mate :)

Very surprised how bad Palace were today...maybe it was the weather (torrential rain for most of the game) or the xmas programme caught up with them...they were hussled off the ball too easily, defended poorly, were rubbish going forward and their passing was woeful...it was like watching the spurs team of 1998-2004

Their fans were great again

Didn't see the game as I was freezing my nuts off in the sea, but equally surprised that they got well beaten at home today. I think you're being rather generous in describing Spurs as only being **** between 98-04 though <whistle>

Two great strikes in the 1st half at Goodison. Spurs deserved their equaliser as they were the better side in the first half. Everton look like they might get some joy down the spurs flanks as their fullbacks play so high up the pitch. Everton need to get the ball out to the flanks much quicker in the 2nd half though as Spurs are doing a good high pressing game.
