Will we not not lose?

There was no need for the Mahrez, Ighalo, Vardy line. Essentially you are comparing your strike force with a Premier League highlight reel for this season. Which is unrealistic given how selective the comparison is. Unless you are trying to tell me that you would really be happy for your team to buy cheap, unproven players from less reputable leagues and take the gamble of playing them in the first team for several seasons?

Think you're missing the point of what the tweet is trying to say (and I didn't tweet it, I only saw it) It's saying you don't have to spend a fortune on players to get what you want; but if you do, you expect more and if you don't get it then there's something seriously wrong.

Compared to us - and forget the fact we beat them - Leicester seem effortless and fearless. I'm not saying that will always be the case, but what we have bought are expensive unproven players (I say unproven because a couple of above average seasons at another Prem league club - Southampton - just come up from a lower league doesn't count as proven, or from a club consistently propping up the rest of the Prem league - Villa) who aren't worth jack and no way worth the money we paid. And it shows. For all our huffing and puffing we just can't blow that house down.

So where does the blame lie?

Time for Klopp to bin off the love-in and tell this lot how it really is, or they can just **** off.

That said, for all that's been said about Benteke - and I've said plenty! - he can find the net eventually, but today he really was piss bloody poor.

I think its just the **** he has to deal with, thanks to rodgers
It's not his squad, so it'd be unfair to blame him solely for the durge you've been churning out of late.

However, he's been there 3 months and I'd have expected him to be getting a better tune out of that same squad than Rodgers did, but he simply isn't. It's arguably worse.

I think Klopp has arguably had more injury issues too, all whilst trying to learn the league. We lost 3-0 to West Ham at home before Rodgers was sacked, so I think that was worse too.

I think the best type of conversation to have with you tobes would be about the weather, or holidays, or something other than football, because your ability to assess LFC is on a toddler level, which would always just lead to stupid arguments, as you're utterly clueless.

I like to entirely forget about injuries too.

I think this will be too much for tobes to process and the reply won't make sense.

West Ham could have had 4 or 5 today had they taken their chances, as could have Watford. Let's not fool ourselves - we're ****.

For whatever reason, in this dream you've stolen all my money, it was about 20k, not sure how you got it, but could you just paypak it back to me please?

I wrote a cheque. Its in the mail.

So was today a case of us playing better and just not scoring and conceding at set pieces... Or were we truly bad today?

Wasnt set pieces. Terrible defending in general and some shocking performances in Firmino and Benteke yet again

Some of our players lack the ability.

Others lack the right attitude.

Klopp will have figured out who is definitely going to be part of his team, who definitely won't be and others he'll still be on the fence about.

This obviously isn't his team. He has brought in zero players.

Perhaps he should be getting more out of the players. Perhaps they should be getting more out of themselves. He's only one guy and a normal one at that. He can't use super-powers to make players better, fitter, more hungry or better at making decisions.

It will be interesting to see out of the current squad who makes the cut in the summer.

For now his task is to keep the whole squad interested. To not let the better players' heads drop at the dross they have to take to the pitch with every week and to keep the lesser, **** players motivated. But partly that's down to their own self-talk so again he can only encourage them, not force them.
