Klopp tells it like it is again.

First goal may have been a fall but the whistle didn't come so we needed to defend. The players waited for the whistle.

Second goal had five defenders on their right sided player who still got the cross in. "That's not pressing, i don't know what that is, it's not pressing, it's nothing"

Said in the review thread, this season is now a write off and will be about klopp understanding who can and who can't cut it.

Annoyingly, it would be best chance of top 4 Chelsea and United both being pants as well.

Honestly with the exception of Clyne, Ibe and Couts this team can **** off.

I have no attachment to it - in fact I dislike them as a bunch.

Wimps.

Naismith offers more than Firmino.
This season the league has shown us that there are some good undervalued players and some of foreign players coming in for £20m to £50m have looked to be worth only a fraction of their prices. Will Firmino be even in any of the top 10 sides?

Not at end of this season if he's still with us he won't.

This.

We have only shown some superiority over teams like Swansea and Sunderland. What does this tell us about this team?
They were the same sort of performances in those games as today- we just happened to win those games.
Performances like that will give you a steady trickle of points if it goes your way often enough, but it's nowhere near good enough to compete for a CL place.
We're all scratching around for explanations- blaming this player and that player, but it's the teamwork and the motivation that's lacking. We've seen how well those same players can play when their attitude is right, so it's up to the manager to get that sort of performance out of them more consistently.

Klopp is not disappointed, he's angry apparently. Sounded disgusted with his players.

Good..go give this shire a proper kicking.

He didn't rant, he said what he thought and the players didn't come out well. He was bang on with it too

Unless that is the specific weakness of too many of the players...mentality...all looking for someone else to do the work when they decide to have a duvet day.

Managers can impose their will but I'm not sure they can change a weak mind anymore than a weak foot....other than to kick them out of the squad. Don't think its a building confidence thing which a manager can do...I think its a lot of players who think they got away with it with one manager and know Klopps not yet in a position due to injuries and pre proper transfer window action to boot them out.

Unfortunately I think thats all thats left for an awful lot of this team...which will mean a couple of windows at least.

Saw this on Twitter and to me this is the point we're all trying to make:

Mahrez, Ighalo, Vardy= £1.4 million, 42 goals this season.
Benteke, Firmino, Lallana= £86.5 million, 8 goals this season.

That's atrocious.

In the 1980s BMW made mostly awful motorcars.

Now they don't.

Have faith in Germans, they turn things around. Look at Germany itself as a country..

The highlighted is atrocious, that much I agree with. However, the other bit is just media type spinning BS. Compare them to any other three players in world's football and that other trio will look a joke too.
