IMO, Pulis is the worst. Fat Sam did, at least, play some decent football when he was with Bolton and had some decent players.

Nowadays, he seems to get called in as a kind of emergency 'keep us in the Prem' service to clubs like Sunderland. His job is to try and stop them getting relegated and so plays not to lose.

Pulis hires thugs and plays cynical football wherever he goes. Witness Adam at Stoke and McLean now at WBA.

To be honest i dont blame these managers..its horses for courses. They are never at clubs who have good enough footballers.

i meant with regards the hoof ball or ultra defensive...not the thuggery bit.

I was in the WBA end v Swansea, the WBA fans are certainly not loving Pulis.

thats fair enough.......i wouldnt be likeing it either. However these managers only get jobs at certain clubs and these clubs happen to be, quite frankly ****, so they try to make **** work to the best of its ability. The manager isnt thinking......i have to play like the fans want. He is thinking how can i best fulfill the criteria for this club.

I agree and WBA knew what they were getting but at some point I think the fans will want him out regardless of results.

I dont think the managers care. They make a healthy wage..there will always be a need for their specialist services, because there are always teams doing poorly.

If my team is in relegation trouble who would i want? Pulis or Mourinho? Pulis would walk away from WBA having done his job regardless of what the supporters think.

Yes managers like Pulis, Pardew have a thick skin and really don't care what supporters think.

Sunderland are terrible. The players look disinterested and the fans are asleep. I don't think Big Sam has ever been relegated but unless he can really turn things around it looks almost inevitable this season.

The will sack sam before the next derby game like normal then go on another mini run abd avoid the drop.

We on the other hand are doomed.

The Mackens are flirting with relegation once to often, IMO. I think they'll go this time. Villa is a 'dead man walking'. So, it's down to who else will go. Hard to say right now.

Rubbish. Look at Swansea and Bournemouth, come from league 1 playing decent football and got into the prem, heck Swansea even won a LC.

Playing good football isn't about having the most money, it's about training your players.

true there are teams that play good football too. I didnt mention money. However for example Allerdyce only gets jobs when the club is in a certain place....and he comes with a certain job in mind. This season, pretty football isnt going to cut it for Swansea is it? Monk tried pretty football..but now they are in a situation which requires rolling their sleeves up.

its all relative.

Which is exactly what our club and it's manager are trying to show.
