Quick, likes to run in behind and has scored goal in the Prem... would suit us more than Benteke has for example.

For £25m, no thanks. For £10-15m, I'd take a punt.

According to Lawro on the BBC, we won't be buying anyone in January. He says Klopp will work with what we've got, so you may as well close this thread. It's a waste of time. <ok>

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35155778

    Liverpool - 7th
Stat attack: Liverpool have attempted 301 shots in their 19 matches, only three teams - Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham - have had more. But the Reds have the third lowest shot-to goals ratio. Their tally of 10.94% is only superior to Swansea (10%) and Aston Villa (9.8%).

Lawro: "I am not expecting Jurgen Klopp to do anything major in January. I don't think he is actively looking for new signings as yet, I think he is more intent in giving everybody a go and seeing what he has got in his squad."

SAM: "If Daniel Sturridge was fit, Liverpool would gain less than one point. According to SAM, the players they have in their squad should* be covering for him. Between Christian Benteke, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho, they should* be scoring the goals he would be expected to score."

    'should' being the operative word.

That said, say what you like about Benteke - and I've said plenty! - he can find the net eventually, which is more than Rooney can.

I think lawro is wrong and Klopp has been alluding to doing so recently.

I think he's already a good idea what he needs.

Agreed- I think this window will be unusually busy for the PL and quite a bit of business will be done all over

    Most likely.

I think lawro not paid attention as is going by Klopp's first interview... he also knows you usually only get one guy in max so he knows he can get away with it.

We should book mark as lfc will get 3... but one is off back on loan.

Ilori needs to come back. The terms of his loan was to play not to have a holiday so we need to rectify. He won't get a game unless he really does more.

Kent hasn't done too much since Klopp had him back at internationals. I think Coventry spotted they'd not get an extension so they've been preparing for not having him. Rumoured to be going to first team training so I've an eye on this one... watch for Exeter game.

In other news Ryan McLaughlin also came back so it looks like he's done and dusted after failing to impress in Scotland.

    Markovic cannot be recalled.

Markovic cannot be recalled but we strike up a deal to terminate the loan?

He and Illori could help resolve a couple of a positions temporarily until new year.

Our attack is crying out for a Marko type player.

    fixed lol.

Klopp is a good start but the rest of them need fecking sacking, sending players out on loan who the club cant recall.

    Amateurish!!

We could depending on fees being returned I suppose but we've not heard anything about it yet.

Again he's supposedly another no 10. You said so yourself.. so we actually need fast wide players to stretch teams so.....

He can play centrally or out wide then drift in. His pace and ability to stay out wide and then drive into the box is what we need.

What we don't need is a traditional winger who gets chalk on his boots and crosses the ball all the time. We need intelligent wide man who can stretch the play but also drive into the box. Marko can play that role.

His speed alone is something we badly need.

I think drift in and what lallana does is two different things.. if markovic can play higher and be more effective fine. We need a Reus type or a lamella type not another coutinho or Firmino or eriksen who want to play up to the d and never get behind.

Klopp needs to buy in this I think.
