I was looking forward to this and dreading it at the same time. A bit like going to the dentist with an abscess.
It did not disappoint. A good but depressing read.
 
About right...Cloves report was far more interesting than the match.....Sorry Clive I didn't mean that as an insult:emoticon-0108-speec

Clive is so, so right. He seems to sum up all our feelings really well. What twisted, contorted, fogged up spectacles is JFH using that he seems to see such different problems and such wildly different solutions?
 
I've just re-watched the highlights and Philips miss looks worse every time I see it, The free kick was non-league standard defending.

And Rob Green needs to go back to school on free kicks it's not funny anymore.

Jimmy Jimmy, you've got your work cut out.
 
Good move for Phillips miss though, with a nice exchange of passes between Konch and Hoilett?, good cross from Konch, good step over dummies from Fer and someone else, all done at speed, leaving Phillips to beat only the Keeper from 5 meters. Cut. The 60 second highlights showed little more anyway than this, and it is far more preferable to focus on than everything else I have read about the game!
 
Good report, but some of Clive's player ratings are baffling.
He gives their midfield player, Patterson a 5 when he completely ran the game till he was replaced. Also, how anyone could give Konchesky a 6 after that display is quite baffling! I do wonder sometimes if people are watching the same game or have somehow slipped into a parallel universe.
