It appears under Gray Hyndman is back in favour, I wonder if there is any chance of keeping him. To be honest if Hyndman and Dembele have both made it clear they won't be signing I would drop both of them to the u21s for the rest of the season as we need to be thinking about the future of our club.

But we're a worse side without them. If the application is there - seems they're both playing well - I'd play them. Shop window, hopefully get the best number if they go. Maybe Slav will have a chat. Appears too late but I'd still play our best players regardless.

From what I know of the Hyndman situation Klinsmann has piped and said that Hyndman would be a regular in a Bundesliga team by now, that he rates him highly and he should move to a bigger club. (Echoes what he said to Clint Dempsey).
I like Hyndman very much, he already has the ability to pick a pass, always tries to pass forwards, what he does not have is the physic at the moment to coupe with being bullied off the ball by certain teams, so far he hasn't played too much and coaches will soon find out how to deal with him, a bit like LVC.

Dembele is different he has the physic and speed to worry defenders now, he's not the finished article, but you can see he has an eye for goal, and has coped well with getting battered and holds his own. Last night against Rotherham Woodrow was getting out muscled by their cunning No20 and got very few flick-ons. If we play with Woodrow up front, Longergan needs to angel his kicks to just over the halfway line for flicks ons, not lump them up in the air where Woodrow will get out muscled.

Just very disappointing to lose Roberts, Dembele and Hyndman within 12 months of each other... Hopefully LVC Burn Betts Kaca and Williams all cement themselves

Emerson isn't just rosc's favourite! He oozes class and awareness - as I said in the 'Rotherham' thread his forward passes last night were a pure delight to watch. And what was particularly pleasing was to see a smile back on the young man's face.

Understand the points SuperBri makes and many a slight player has shone - the late, great John White comes to mind (mainly because Emerson reminds me very much of him). With the transfer embargo hitting in, the Club would be bonkers to let him go in January. And hopefully that smile indicates a change of heart from him.
